What can I say, these reels do NOT disappoint !! This is the fifth Seaknight reel I have purchased over the last few years, a couple of spinning reels and a small compact bait runner for my feeder fishing, oh my god, they are quality. well made, good solid materials, silly smooth for a reel of this price. All the reels perform spot on, no issues with line feed, casting (Braid & Mono) and all of them are as good as the day I bought them. I bought this for my commercial float rod in size 3000, its spot on, just like my other Seaknight reels it's faultless. Apart from being a smart looking reel, it oozes quality and more importantly, it casts a waggler float with ease and distance, the line peels off so slick and the reel was a joy to use, chuffed to bits. Lovely reels at amazing prices, 100% recommend, you wont be disappointed at all :) WELL DONE SEAKNIGHT, THANK YOU !

Smooth but the is a quiet clicking noise every rotation

Used it yesterday waggler fishing for F1’s must’ve cast and recast at least 300 times caught over 50 F1 carp never gave me any grief at all. Fast rewind with long handle. Pleasure to cast. Great reel very well made looks good too.Note have used it three times so far each time for four hour waggler sessions, cant do more, arm and wrist hurt with all the casting and retrieving, hasn't given me any grief at all great buy.Have now used it every fishing trip, have caught carp up to 20lb it's never given me grief and so to this extent I have just purchased a second one, this is for bomb and pellet so I hjave no doubt it will perform just as well. It's a great looking real with no vibration or oscillation on the rewind👍

A brilliant little light-weight reel. Smooth and looks good (like me!!)Easily worth the money.Only tiny issue is the bail arm is a little "snappy", but what the heck !

The reel is really nice and works really well, the handle however after only 4 fishing sessions, decided to pop the plastic turn knob which means to tighten handle you have to use a screwdriver, every time. It is a cheap reel, easy to use but Shame they did not put the effort into whst is an integral part of the reel as without handle working properly, you can't to much

Excellent reel good value

Honestly I've spent hu dress on carp reels over the years but this is the best I've ever used! I never ever write reviews but after the first fish I was blown away with the smoothness and quality. Get this in the 6000 and you will not disappointed. I ordered 2 for trial and just ordered a 3rd and 4th for my 3rd rod and spod rod.
