Big giraffes on the loose
I saw a couple of giraffes from this same herd in a store and they were grabbed before I could make up my mind. These are as close as I could find and I just had to have them. They fit my sense of whimsy, color, and the giraffe motif I have going on in our family room. My gripe comes because they are all painted with the same scheme --e.g. red with yellow swirls on the back left leg -- and when they are displayed together they just look primitive and like something a tourist would buy (and regret when home). Be aware how tall each is -- you need a large display space. The colors are bright, clear, and true to what I was expecting from the picture. Guess I will have to break up the family and see if "Mom" would like to greet people in the foyer. And "baby" can climb the bookcase in another room..
