I bought this kit as I live in a very old house with a wrap around porch. It faces due east and due south so in the summer, the sun and heat can be pretty relentless. And because I couldn't stand to get rid of the wavy glass in all of my old windows, our windows are not energy efficient so the inside of several rooms can get pretty warm. With that in mind, I made curtains out of drop cloths that go all the way around the porch. They help block the direct sun and create a cozy, breezy effect. I wasn't to sure about the cableing at first, since it's only 1/16, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed. And the thimbles and sleeve crimps were super easy to install. I cant remember what the little clamp things are with the screws, but they also helpful in securing the line so it won't slip. I got all the promised pieces and everything was in excellent shape. (One thing, you will need crimpers for this as that's the only way to close the crimping sleeve.... this may be obvious to most, but I didn't think about it until I got the kit. Fortunately my husband had a set, so no problems!)I would recommend this kit. Like I said, it was all there and exactly what I needed.

The wire exceeded my expectations! I used it to give body to the brims of sun hats that I crochet. It is an outstanding product.

I had to string beads together for a project. To prevent the beads from wearing, the plastic coating works great.

Good kit! I mainly needed it to redo a few bird feeders, but this wire with the supplied connectors has many uses. I would buy again when needed.

Used it to thread through the top of chicken wire fence around my garden. Does a great job of preventing the fence from sagging.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that squirrels cannot climb this wire!!!!! It's too thin and it's coated which makes it sleek too.
