Important to put knives in blade protector/sheaths or they will cut thru material.
This thing is great. Just what I was after. I am just a home chef but I could see this being very valuable to a professional. My chef's knife is my most used tool in the kitchen. I usually keep is safe in a wooden magnetic sheath but it is not the kind of sheath you can wear. This works incredibly well in conjunction with that wooden sheath. The magnets keeping it secure but is still easy to draw. I just use a plastic blade protector from a 99-cent store cheapo for my good paring knife. Before I had to set aside a spot for my good knives in my work area. This helps free up that area and gives me access to my most used gizmos. I can just rinse off my knife, towel it dry and slip it back in the belt till the next chop. The material is strong but not as thick as something like a police duty belt. You will see some negative reviews regarding knives cutting through the material which is why it is important to use something extra. We all love to keep our blades sharp, no type of cordura should be a match for them.It also looks pretty cool. Maybe too cool. I feel like this is what Batman would wear while he is cooking. Let's be fair though, Batman doesn't cook, Batman has Alfred. It does give one a sense of purpose when you put it on. Its comfortable and easy to adjust. The pouch selection is pretty great. Buckle so far seems good but was difficult to thread it through the loop initially. As you can see in my pics this is my load-out: Tongs, Yaxell Ran 8" chefs knife with wood scabbard, Yaxell Mon paring knife, honing steel, meat thermometer, notepad, pen and of course a titanium folding spork for tasting as I go.The only thing I got specifically for it was the notepad and meat thermometer. I lucked out that all my old favorite gear fits perfectly. Hopefully the photos will help give people and idea if it fits their stuff too. You should be able to get the dimensions of my Yaxell knives here on Amazon.

Not really great for its intended funtion, nonetheless handy
I've owned this particular knife holster for 5 years. I wouldnt wear it around on my hip normally but it is nice to have the option when I would work large events and didnt want to speedwalk across a football feild sized tent to get back to a cubby.I really love to use it as a compact knife roll. As long as you also use knife guards that effectively contain the tips, it does a great job of securing knives inside something else like a backpack or tote bag. I live and work in a city so I prefer to not walk around with a fancy-looking knife roll. Like others have mentioned, if you dont use knife guards the fibers will get cut open which can be dangerous, especially if youre using at a holster. Mine has holes in it from me losing knife guards, but 30 bucks for 5 years of use isnt bad in my book. the upside to the fabric though is that you can throw it into a washing machine

I was thinking why there is no holster for chefs like hunters or mechanic guys have and searched on Google and came across to this guy. At first I was sceptical to buy this since there was no brand and I did not know someone use that kind of a thing in the kitchen but easily say that this thing had changed my life. I work in a huge kitchen and I need to carry my knifes all day long from this station to that station. So this holster became something vital as much as my knifes. If you paid $300 for your knife you really don't want to loose it. With a holster life is much easier. Thank you guys whoever produce this item.. The belt and clip are so durable they seem like they will last forever. The holster itself also has same material that my knife roll has and can say it is strong but still not recommend to use it without a blade guard. The only thing I would suggest is there should be more options for different choices. I would like to design it myself with molley pouches or that kind of stuff.

Fits big waist line comfortably! Very durable holster, impossible to tear, dries fast. Easy clean up.
This belt fitted me nicely and I’m a big guy with a 40” inch waist. The belt could have easily been adjusted another 10” inches to a 50” inch if needed. Some of my cooks with smaller waists, 28” inch also found it to be very comfortable. This belt can easily be adjusted. I hesitated at first reading how the fabric got poked or cut but that’s only because knife guards weren’t used. I use knife guards on all my knives before inserting them into my holster and never made a scratch on my holster. I’m in catering so I’m never in one place and tend to remove my knives in and out frequently. I just use a simple knife guard with my knife then into my holster and I’m good to go. Even when I had my leather holster, I used my knife guards. Without them, damage to leather happens easily. Unlike leather though, it’s much easier to clean. I simply toss this holster into the laundry machine and it comes out brand new. If I found out about this holster sooner, I would have saved a lot of money on lost or stolen knives. It’s definitely worth the investment. Highly recommended to all my chef friends.

Great idea, comfortable, not sturdy enough for professional use.
Comfortable and makes work easy. I would suggest that the manufacturer add removable wooden or plastic sheathes to the inside knife slots as unfortunately since I keep my knives so sharp - I have cut through the bottom of the holster.
