Doesn’t hold heavier items
I’ve used Gear Keepers to hold 8 ounce transmitters. This one does not hold anything much heavier than an ID card. I’m very disappointed.

Wow, it Works Great
Needed a way to keep my wading staff close and reachable. This zinger does that. Keep the staff next to me with the handle out of the water. Great when fishing last and early season. In addition, the zinger gives me full flexibility while hiking to the creek or when moving up a rough section or rifle.

They're great for fly fishing gear!
Really enjoy these. After loosing servals pairs of hemos, nippers, and gink bottles, I decided I wanted a nicer set of zingers. These are much better than the standard zingers that have plaqued fly fishing for years. Really smooth action and it has so much more reach. They hold up nippers, hemostats, ect without an issue. Definitely worth the extra money over standard zingers.

Simply get the larger sized keeper for nets.Conclusion: If you use regularly use cutters, hemostats, pliers and even small, fixed-bladed knives with sheaths attached to your fishing sling pack or back pack, these keepers are a must.

Gear Keeper RT-2101
I bought 2 Gear Keeper RT5-2101 Micro Retractor Super Zingers based on amazon reviews. I use them on my fly fishing vest to hold nippers and forceps. The cords are long enough for me so that I don't have to lean or stretch to use my attached tool. I've only used them once so far, but they seem to be well made. So far, no complaints

Light means light.
Spring is too light, can barely hold a laminated badge. Recommend understanding how much weight capacity is needed before you buy.

I use it to hold my cb mic and is not string enough so Noé i use it as a key chain
