YETI Hopper Flip 12 Soft Cooler

Is this YETI expensive? Yes. Is it high quality and going to last longer than less expensive options? Absolutely. There's a reason why YETI comes at a higher cost and you should do yourself a favor and spend a few extra $$$ buying their products. I use this mainly for when I play golf, keeps beers and food ice cold with some ice and an ice pack. Fits close to 8 beers in there with the ice pack and ice. Highly recommended!

Zipper is so hard to zip, doesn’t keep cold well. It protects for air travel to keep my foods for some hours. Would not recommend for cooling because it’s not really keeping cold and still heavy.

I love(d) Yeti until this cooler. For $200 it should be able to hold ice all day. It's a day sized cooler so expectations for anything longer wouldn't be appropriate in my eyes. But it sure as heck should be able to maintain ice cubes for more than 4 hours. Routinely, my ice is all water by the end of a second baseball game, which is typically 4 hours. This seems like a case of Yeti cashing in on its name while providing an inferior product. If you only need ice for a few hours this is great. If you're counting on it holding ice all day, look elsewhere.

I have $20 coolers that keep ice better than this. Bought as Father’s Day gift to take on kayaks and to the ball field. After a couple tournaments and one float on the kayaks, this sits in my garage. Overpriced and not functional.
