I got this clock because my phone alarm either doesn’t go off or just low. So I decided to try the traditional clock. This clock has features like 5 different alarms, different scrolling for brightness, plug into the wall or use batteries, can change the volume of the alarm, and had a USB plug for your phone or other accessories to charge. It was easy to program. It is small and does not take space. If you want to have a traditional clock to have, choose this one. Great clock to have!!

This small digital clock is exactly what I was looking for! It’s compact enough to fit perfectly on my nightstand without taking up too much space, and the display is easy to read both day and night. I love the 6 levels of brightness—it can go super dim for sleeping or bright enough to see clearly during the day. The 4 alarm volume settings are a great feature, especially for light or heavy sleepers. Setup was incredibly easy with no confusing buttons, and it stays plugged in so I never have to worry about changing batteries. It’s a reliable, no-fuss clock that does its job really well. Highly recommend!

First, let me just say, WOW! I received this clock today (November 2019) and upon first impression: 1. Adjustable brightness!! This is probably my favorite feature on this clock. I'm a person with vision loss, which makes it difficult with some products out there. This clock, however, allows me to make the numbers VERY bright OR very dim! (You can even turn the light off that displays the numbers). 2. It's small enough that it doesn't take up a lot of space on my nightstand. 3. Love the ability to adjust the volume for the alarm AND the five alarm sound options. 4. It has a cord for power, so I don't have to worry about batteries. 5. I have added two photos, so you can see it in a dark room. The dimly lit photo is NOT as dim as it gets, but you get the idea.... 6. Incredibly easy to set the time and alarms. Didn't even need to read the tiny instruction book (thankfully- being visually impaired and all). 7. Did I mention how easy the number display is to see?!? It is the perfect size for my needs. UPDATE: As other reviewers have mentioned, customer service is excellent, so I have updated to 4 stars. They reached out to me and even followed up when I didn't respond after a little while (the original email had landed in my spam folder). I was given the option for a replacement or full refund. Because of my unique shipping situation, I chose to get a refund, which they processed very quickly and without hassle. I plan on using the refund to buy the same clock as a replacement once it's convenient for me to ship it, because plug issue aside (which I haven't seen happen with other reviewers, so it's probably a one-off situation) my kids do really like it. If the new clock has no issues, I'll be happy to write a new 5-star review, or update this one to reflect that. -- My kids really like this alarm clock; the coloured night light appeals to them, and the numbers were easy to read. They like changing up the sound of the alarm from time to time. However, after 6 weeks on my kids' desk, the part of charger that plugs into the back of the clock broke off in the clock while they were changing the alarm tone. If the break was at the base of the plug, which is a high stress point, I might understand better, but this is genuinely an odd place for a break. Fortunately the battery backup means that the clock can still be used, but the numbers on the face are off unless you push a button on the clock--this is a battery saving feature, I understand, but it also makes it hard for kids to keep track of time if they have to do something to see the time, vs. just glancing at the clock on the table. That's definitely affected the clock's usefulness. I waited to see how long the batteries would last before leaving this review, and it's been about 2 weeks. Fortunately, I am using rechargeable batteries, but it's all less than ideal now. Which is too bad! Because as I said, the kids really liked it when it was fully functioning. I can't easily return this because I live abroad and had to have it shipped to me by a freight forwarder.

Love, Love, Love this clock!! I bought it for our trailer because I needed a larger clock. My husband was a little worried since it had a white display and not red. The dimmer on this clock is a dial and not preset settings. It's AMAZING, you can dial the readout so low that it is still visible but not bright. This works great when you're in a trailer camping and it's really dark. The other features are nice too. There are numerous sounds that you can use for the alarm setting. I highly recommend this clock for anyone that wants to control the ambient light flooding your room from electronics.

Best alarm ever. Going strong after 3 years. Choices of alarm sounds like nature, bells, etc with volume settings. Brightness is dimmable and the phone charging port is very useful. I am buying a second as a gift. Superb customer service when 1st didn't work.

LAST UPDATE: After talking with the manufacturer about this issue and them reading my review, they MADE a clock with a red display for me. It solved the problem perfectly! I can see it clearly in the daytime without it turning into a night light at night. Folks this is customer service at its finest! I rarely ever use an alarm but just the fact that this one has 5 options for the alarm sound makes it a very pleasant way to be awakened. THANK YOU USCCE!!! UPDATE: After using this for a couple of nights I'm finding the white display to be a problem. When I turn it up so I can see it during the day, it's like a night light at night. It's way too bright for me to sleep. When I turn it down at night, I can't see it during the day. I put a blue plastic over lay on it but it doesn't help. The same with a red plastic over lay. I do love its features so I won't take any stars away from it but I do have a dilemma here... I don't know why people give an item a "one star" rating when THEY didn't read the product description correctly. This little clock is a gem and it's not fair to the manufacturer! The only thing that would make this item any better would be if we could change the display color to blue, red or green or have the option to buy it in each of those colors. I love the 2 rotating volume controls. In this day of everything being the same and push buttons that often quit working, it's a pleasure going back to the old style volume controls that you can feel for in the dark instead of fumbling around and (often) pressing the wrong button. There is one control for the volume of the alarm and one for the brightness of the display. To set the time you simply press & hold the "clock set" button for 3 seconds and release it then push the + or - button to set the hour then press the "clock set" button again to set the minutes then press it again and you're done. Even the tiny manual is only a folded paper smaller than a match book and it's only in English without all of the ridiculous warnings like: "don't use the clock in the shower"... Finally, the alarm. Who thought up such a great idea for alarm sounds? Personally, I love the bird sounds to wake me up but you can choose from: the irritating buzzer that is common in most alarms, a more pleasant beeping sound, a chirping bird sound, a piano playing or soft music to wake up to. What a nice touch! In a world where everything electronic is mostly the same, thanks for a different and great product!

I love all the features on this alarm clock, the dimmable light, the choices in alarm sounds to wake up to, the ability to adjust the volume of the alarm, how basic it is to set the time and the alarm. It’s a great little alarm clock that helped me to get my phone out of my room and has helped me get much better sleep as a result. My complaint, the clock randomly resets itself back to 12:08am and resets the alarm to 7:00am as though I lost power. It will happen after I’ve moved it to clean or sometimes just from turning it to see the time or from a little bump. I don’t know if all of them are like this or if I got a faulty power cord. I actually really want to buy another one for my boys room but resetting the time and alarm multiple times a week is annoying for me, it will be more often for a couple boys who by default bump into and touch and grab all the things.

I was looking for a bedside clock that is dimmable from zero to bright without having to choose a switch setting (i.e. 5 different brightness settings). This clock (I have the white model with white light) allows for easy dimming by a wheel on the right side of the back. Easy to adjust with one hand and without looking. It is very easy to set and to switch between 12- and 24-hour modes. It has a number of different alarm tones ranging from the classic loud sounds to very cheerful bird chirping and other white "noise". It is easy to set the volume for the alarm too. The snooze button on top is large enough to hit it with the eyes closed. I am very happy with this clock because I was looking for something simple, yet adjustable. There is a USB plug-in to charge a phone or to use for other devices. It requires three AAA batteries (not included) to protect it from being affected by power outages. I put the batteries in before I connected the clock to the electrical wall outlet. I like to keep the brightness very low at night and need it to be very bright during the day.

The display on this looks great, it’s crystal clear. It avoids over-complicating what it can do in a refreshing way. It’s not a radio, it’s not a Bluetooth speaker. It’s an alarm clock, and all of its features are built around that. The display brightness is adjustable with a knob, the alarm volume is adjustable with a knob, there is battery power backup, and there is a USB power socket that is perfect for passing through power from a single wall plug to also charge a phone. All useful. It has some alternate alarm sounds (in addition to the more traditional BEEP) that mostly sound terrible, but there is a piano melody that I like. I also like that the volume slowly amps up, as opposed to a sudden startling blast.

Should have said it has an A type mains plug not used in UK ,so makes it expensive as you have to purchase an adaptor, At this price I think the seller should provide one with the item
