Everything's just kind of thrown in the box. The individual packets of screws and nuts aren't labeled so I kind of have to guess what screw is what. No instructions provided,. I guess I have to watch the video assembly but honestly her accent is distracting and she sounds like she's being made to put this thing together at gun point. Paper instructions would've been appreciated. Also wasn't very clear to me but,. It does NOT come with the lithium 18650 batteries.

Terrible video, no instructions in box, no instructions in 'instructions' download, broke leg piece because instead of screw sets i had odds and ends, or they were collectively too short. Was impressed with sunfounder until this kit. Item is plastic, not metal.

The main part, the computer board, is not the same as in the directions and is confusing at best. It will not communicate with the computer even with the proper com port program loaded. I am trying to contact the manufacturer or seller for help, but there is no way to get help. The help page comes up with a picture of a dog and "Sorry, wrong page." This is not the first time I have had problems with this manufacturer and will not order from them again. I am returning the product right away before the limited time is up where they refuse to take an item back.

Some parts were substituted in the kit from what was in the instructions and kit was impossible to assemble. The motor controller board did not fit the hole pattern that was for the original controller and there was no room to drill new holes. The sonar sensor had a crystal on the front which was not on original sonar and it would not fit in holder. Crystal was also in the way of mounting screw. There was no way to get the feet mounted correctly as the mounts were not spaced correctly. I could only assume from the other parts, they must have substituted the servos too. Robot could not be assembled in any way, shape or form. I design robots for a company in Spokane, wrote several years for Robot Magazine and now write for Servo Magazine. If I can't assemble it, something is wrong.

If I could I would give this no stars. The control board is faulty and I couldn’t get Sunfounder to respond. All I wanted was for them to help me. Wasn’t asking for a refund. I proved it was a faulty board because I used an Arduino Uno instead an it worked. I bought this for my grandkids, because they were learning about coding and robotics. I’m very disappointed and it’s hard to believe that Sunfounder has an approval rating of 98% when they won’t even respond. Don’t buy from Sunfounder that’s all I can say!

Needs 2 lithium 18650 batteries which are not included. Had to find a vape shop open Christmas day to buy batteries and charger. Please comment in the future or at least put an "ALSO BUY" below it

No instructions or link to instructions in the box. Had to google for the video tutorial. Package did not include batteries mentioned in video tutorial. Smallest screws do not work well with the included screwdriver. I was hoping this would be a fun activity to do with my 12 yo brother but I ended up doing most of the assembly since it does have such delicate parts.

Waste of money! Missing many parts. Instructions are unclear. No remote control. Not clear instructions on how to program. Would not be recognized by your MAC High Sierra
