Star Wars The Black Series Obi-Wan Kenobi Force FX Elite Lightsaber Collectible with Advanced LED and Sound Effects

Been after this for years, and with finally getting my hands on it I am not disappointed. The build quality has amazing detail, it is not to heavy yet heavy enough to feel very sturdy in you’re hand. It came very well packaged with no damage. If your a true Star Wars fan I definitely recommend you get this

I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas present and he loves it. The quality is great, the box came a little bit damaged but everything was okay lucky. I was expecting it to be plastic but it’s actual metal. Overall I think it’s a great steal.

Bought as "Used - Like New" from Amazon Warehouse as I was a little late to the party ordering this version of the Black Series Lightsaber and so this was the best way of still getting one at a reasonable price.As I suspected, when it arrived it looked like when originally ordered it was delivered in just its retail packaging which was a little beat up with the original delivery labels having been placed directly on to it.Obviously for some collectors the appearance of the outer packaging is just as important as what's inside but this wasn't a concern for me - and Amazon seemed to have learnt their lesson and placed it in an outer box this time so no further damage could be caused.Anyhow, on to what was inside the box.It was clear that whoever had originally ordered this had returned it without ever removing the lightsaber from the inner packaging, everything inside was untouched - a hefty, solidly built, fantastic looking lightsaber with all the light and sound effects you could wish for in "Like New" condition.In all, a fantastic addition to my ever expanding Star Wars collection.

This is my first Force FX Lightsaber, it's based on Obi-Wan's saber as it was in the recent TV series so it's presented with some fairly nice paintwork to make it appear a bit weathered and worn.What you get in the box is a saber hilt (requires 3xAA batteries, you'll need a small Phillips screwdriver to open and seal the battery cylinder), a stand, an LED blade and two display emitters - one for display with a screen accurate thin neck, the other for use with the LED blade.The box was shipped "as is" with postage labelling stuck straight to it, so if you were hoping to preserve it as a collectible with its packaging, you're out of luck. As it happens, the absence of a permanent box you can safely store it in puts it a step behind the Legacy sabers sold by Galaxy's Edge, which is a shame because in most other ways this is a better product.The blade takes a minute to fit - you have to unscrew the emitter piece from the hilt, slot in your blade with its bayonet fitting (with Obi-Wan Kenobi marked on its base, in case you own more than one saber and get your blades mixed up), then slide the blade emitter down from over the top of the blade and screw it on like a collar. It's fairly stable and doesn't seem to wobble.The saber itself activates cleanly with a definite blade effect that extends smartly up the blade, the sounds are satisfying without being too loud, be aware there's no volume control. The blade is bright and a nice colour, not washed out, and it seems to be fairly close to screen accurate.Pro's - Nice when it's in your hands, colour, sound, appearance, it's nice. It sits on its display stand looking good too.Con's - No permanent display or storage box, shipped in its own box. Nowhere to store the second emitter when it's on display. It's heavy. No interchangeable blades, you have to buy the saber hilt and blade all as one package - if you collect you'll fill your room with blades very fast. Brass coloured section is painted, it really needed to be actual metal. The stand lifts the saber way off the desktop, it could have been lower like the Galaxy's Edge stands - although it's fairly stable and shouldn't tip easily.Is it worth the price...? You're paying a premium for it being branded, sold in the UK with its normal markup for that privilege, and in the US you could get a Galaxy's Edge saber cheaper. But the FX is a nicer piece. Hard to decide.

I have bee looking at buying one of the black series light sabers for years now and finally bought one.The hilt(handle) is really well made and is full metal body so it feels heavy in your hand with sound effect for moving the blade when it's on and a button for differant actions like deflecting blasters bolts or blocking another light saber.Has a stand with a separate top for the hilt when not in use so you don't have to have the blade attached all the time, very easy to change into fight mode or display mode.

Order arrived absolutely destroyed due to no packaging whatsoever. Amazon’s fault, not Hasbro. I recommend ordering from elsewhere if you want a mint condition item. Lightsaber itself is fantastic and one of the best I own.

Fantastic saber, if you only can get only one get the obi version it's beautiful.Only complaint is it's a bit quiet.

Literally ordered this LIGHTSABER month's ago and they delivered the completely wrong item. Amazon's services didn't help much either and blamed Hasbro for shipping the wrong item. Hasbro should be honoring their sale price and send me the correct item. I would absolutely recommend buyers to never purchase from Hasbro for this bait and switch policy they clearly have online.
