The waist was a perfect fit based on what the site recommended. The shorts were quite loose and baggy around the hips but then I'm thin. I'm quite happy with the shorts. I use them for physical therapy.

Nice colors (I got two pair) and they seem well constructed. Nice item to add to my summer wardrobe.

Thought I did a thorough search and found mid-length, drawstring cotton shorts. Alas, I wasn't careful enough. The price is good, arrived quickly, good fit with a drawstring and I love the color. But what I really wanted was a pair of women's shorts that are woven, not knitted. I just hate wearing stretchy or knitted fabric shorts. I used to be able to walk into Kmart and buy a pair of affordable, cotton shorts that weren't denim but with a nice weave. (The kind that looks better the more you wash them.) For years, I haven't been able to find the same on Amazon, at least not within my budget. On Amazon, I will just have to be more careful and more willing to pay extra for what I want.

Fits well and very comfortable.

If you want these shorts baggy and long like the photo, size up one size. I ordered my usual size and they fit, but they want to crawl up my legs a bit. Will have to stretch them out. I have a small waist and they are snug there, too. These are decent shorts, but not special...I have many pairs of another brand that fit me better and are more comfy. These have too much fabric at the waist compared to my other brand.

Comfortable, great for working out.
