I wanted to write about my experience sooner, but the weather has not cooperated and no rain. Where I live it does not rain that often and hopefully over the winter, we will get enough rain to test the waterproofing and will add the results to this page.For now, let’s talk about the other aspects of the cover. This is the first time that I have had this type of cover. In the past all my covers were the thick nonwoven material type. The nonwoven covers are generally easier to put on; however, I did not find them very waterproof or protective, and are very bulky to store. My car is not garaged and is exposed to the element’s day in and day out. UV has destroyed my finish and interior. The nonwoven covers did not offer much protection in that regard. Also, they provided no protection from the rain or dust. I thought I would try this type of cover and hoped for the best.So far, and it is too early to fully tell, UV protection looks like it is working. Nothing in the interior of the car has further faded. And, the interior is much cooler with the cover on than sitting in the sun without it “this is something I just thought was an advertising gimmick, but it is true.”Because of the tight elastic seal on the bottom edge of the cover, I now have excellent dustproofing and don’t have to dust off my car every day. In fact, I hardly had to dust it since using the cover and where I live it is a very dusty environment.As I mentioned, I found that this type of cover was a little more difficult to put on and that was due to its thin fabric and slippery nature. I was; however, after a few days, able to master putting it on and now I like it much better that the old covers and it goes on much easier. I like the way it secures with the three straps. They are so easy to hook up and hold the cover securely in high winds. One other cool thing about this design is it does not matter which way you put it on. The front does not have to go in the front, the cover will fit perfectly either way.The cover is very well made, all seams are sewed straight and tight. The fabric is super strong and I tried my best to rip it without any success. Additionally, none of the seams popped!The car looks great with the cover on it and affords maximum protection from the elements. Overall, I am very happy with the cover and highly recommend it.I will revisit this page with updates especially waterproof and UV.REVISION:As promised, I have and update on water proofing. We have finally got some significant rain, by our SoCal standards, and the cover worked perfectly. No water got through!So far the UV protection is outstanding! No additional damage from UV.A little note: The center strap snapped in the middle and it looks like it melted from touching the catalytic converter. When I get home late at night, I don't let the car exhaust system cool down before putting the cover on...my bad. So, please be aware of this. My solution is to go to the .99 cent store and buy a wire dog leash and use that as the middle strap. I bought this for my 2005 volvo xc90, it fits perfectly, 100% waterproof, and has gone through several high winds and no rips. Straps are nice and easy to use. I will definitely buy another for ome of my cars that sit outside here in Michigan weather

I would like to start off with how long the last three (3) car covers lasted from other sellers...9 mos. to less than a year!! Terrible! The second one I bought lasted 10 mos. and started to shred all on it's own. The seller did replace it and I always write a date on the underside of the cover and the replacement lasted 11 mos. That company is now OUT OF BUSINESS...and I can see why.This cover from Molebt is a different material so I thought I would go w/that and give it a chance.I only gave 4 stars because I just got it Nov. 10, '22 and don't know how long it will last. I will update this review month's from now and that's why I put the "headline" as "TIME WILL TELL". My car sits outside full time w/no garage.As for the "lightweight" goes I gave it 5 stars because it is very lightweight. This makes for ease of handling and light but it could be a two-edged sword as the lightness of it may make it not so durable..."time will tell".I love the colors as they are kind of 'flashy' and I almost didn't order it because I thought the black color might absorb the summer sun and heat up the interior of the car BUT when I got it I discovered that the underside of it which faces the car is silver, and I'm assuming it reflects the heat of the sun, thus keeping the heat out.My car is a SL500 Mercedes and when I first put the cover on I got to the back and I thought "OH NO...it's too small and I'll have to return it", so I went back to the front and pulled it up a little to just below the grill and went back to the back and it fit PERFECT! Not too tight, but not loose either. The pics show how perfect it fits. Those of you w/any MBZ SL-500-550-65, or the equivalent it will fit snug. I got the 164-175" cover and almost went the next size up, but glad I didn't.So, bottom line, I'm very happy w/my purchase so far, BUT my big concern is how long it lasts!!I will try to remember to update this review in time.

The cover fits my car well but the straps seem slightly out of place, but it is a universal cover. Water proof is what I needed due to a leaky sunroof and this does the trick!

I have a Nissan 2015 Leaf. It fit fine. Bought this cover 6 months ago. It held out pretty good In the summer Savannah heat I’d covered the car and it did keep the car cool. However during a heavy tropical storm the claps started to fray and the middle came apart. I did fix it with safety pins. Later on I noticed the front and back started fraying and I just safety pins them. Then tonight the top of the cover ripped where the antenna is. Now it’s been 6 months and the sun does beat down here in Savannah Ga but I would like it to last a little bit longer. I probably not buy it again because it’s not really long term durable at least not here

It fits my Miata perfect, the ties work well and it does very well and looks good.

I just wanted to write a quick review of the car cover I purchased. The car cover has been great and has done what it needed to do. A few days ago, I noticed that one of the seams was beginning to come apart and I contacted the company. They were very responsive and provided the support that I needed. It is great to work with Amazon sellers who are true to their word and want to ensure that their customers are supported, even after the sale (and the return window) are closed!

Just received and it fits very well. Also looks good. Has straps on both front and back ends and one strap in the middle. Weather is supposed to get bad here soon so let's hope it holds up 🙏. Well it's been over a month and it still looks brand new. Very satisfied with the cover and would suggest to anyone it's well worth the price.

I had to put my truck into storage for the next 8 or 9 months and I'm using this cover to keep the dust off my Double Cab Toyota Truck. It fit well and was easy to install. Reasonable price for a semi custom cover and looks good.

I bought this as I was preparing to park my 2008 Mazda MX5 (Miata) convertible in our barn for the winter, and was impressed with the perfect sizing and sharp look! In the picture I had just quickly thrown it over the car to make sure it fit. It has clips at the bottom that I hadn't done up. If using this outside, I would recommend using the clips, since the night I left this on my car in the carport, we had a wildly windy night, and in the morning I found the car cover had blown right off the car!
