So far I'm impressed
I've had this now for close to a week. Got it last tuesday and it had nearly a full charge at that time. I finally was able to give it a full charge last night (Saturday) when it reached 27% battery. I'm impressed with nearly everything about this phone. It's now the best camera I own. Amazing that Blackview sells this for a third the price of phones at the big box stores, that won't do what this does. I'm liking Android 11. Very intuitive and manageable. From 27% to 100% in about 3 hours last night. Checked it this morning and it still had 100% after 6 hours of standby time. The volume is amazing for these old ears. I'll update this in a couple of months, but so far........... OUTSTANDING!!!Update: Everything is still great. The only downside so far is that it doesn't do 5G. But by the time this becomes an issue I'll be ready for a new phone anyway. I'm realizing that the quality and strength of the signal you get can be enhanced by the phone itself. There are certain places where I lose all signal to T-Mobile with my business phone, but my Black View still has 2 or 3 bars. Better quality receiver? I'm upgrading this to a 5 star. It's now July 2023 and the phone is still performing well. Dropped it yesterday off the side of a combine about 7 feet to a hard cement floor. Phone is undamaged. The next phone I get will most likely be a BlackView.

Super HD
Bought for relative and the phone works great. The pictures it takes are so clear it's like Super HD.

Slow, to heavy to truly be rugged and camera is terrible.
Had it for two weeks and dropped it the first time from off the couch, cracked the screen which is a joke considering this is considered a rugged phone.Phone has always semi frequently locked up since owning it.I love the battery capacity but I'd easily loose that perk and go for a lighter phone that can actually withstand drops not being considered a rugged phone.IR camera is nice to have but the standard camera is terrible, has a hard time focusing and takes a while for the picture to take after focus on standard mode not night.Less than a year in and it's screen is half cracked, camera glass is cracked (right over the normal camera) and now here recently it turns off on the slightest bump.

Not all that rugged
Gave to a kid who is admittedly not gentle with phones. He destroyed it in under 4 months. Decent battery life, but very heavy.

Kinda of cool but...
Update: GPS is driving me nuts. I cannot rely on it at all for even short trips. I will be buying a new phone. Customer support is nonexistent. Makes calls, cameras are OK but I'm done with Blackview. This phone is kind of cool but mine has an issue. The GPS will randomly lose signal. No fix that I could find. Best part, it happens at the worst time. Driving on the highway it can work fine for a couple hours, but then 45min later you check for the exit and realize you passed it and the map is thinks you have stopped 20 miles back. Now the good. Cameras are pretty good and night vision works great.Unlike my last Blackview, this one has a good compass.Battery life is amazing. I don't use my phone much so I only charge it once a week and even then it is at 40%+.Phone works good as a phone. At the end of the day this is what I need, everything else is just an extra. Cheap phones are a bit of a gamble, so far Blackview has been great value, if not a little buggy.
