A great all around pot to have in any camp kitchen
Not the lightest piece of cookware but handles a lot of abuse. We usually camp out on the coast, over open fires, where fresh water is at a premium so cleanup sometimes involves scrubbing with sand and a rinse with saltwater before a freshwater rinse. Aluminum never seemed to hold up long term to that kind of abuse and titanium seems too expensive for cooking for more than one person. The handle folds nicely to save space and I like that the lid has holes that act as vents and as an easy way to strain/drain food like pasta. The bottom is multiple layers so it seems to distribute heat better than single layer pots-which is handy since open fires are hard to regulate. I can't say much about the "extras" included... didn't use them much but could come in handy if we didnt already have larger versions at our disposal. All in all, if I were to choose one pot to take on a camping trip for more than one person, this would be it, as it seems indestructible , is the perfect size for feeding more than 1 or 2 people and can fill multiple roles around the camp kitchen and is up to any challenge

AWESOME set for family camping and our boy/girl scout trips
To start I had all the needed camping gear to keep a family off the grid for a couple nuclear half lives. The problem is it looked like it has survived at least one of those half-lives already and my wife is more of a clamping person so to get her out of the hotel was going to take some doing. My family is slowly becoming outdoor enthusiasts. As a kid, my family went camping, snow/water skiing probably 3 of 4 weekends all year long. The beauty of living in SoCal. Since then I have had kids and all that slowed quite a bit. I still go on my target shooting and camping trips. Well, my twin 9-year-olds (1 boy 1 girl) and both are in scouts now that has got them off the iPad and outdoors FINALLY!!! We also do other after-school activities. That being said it makes for endless Amazon shopping and trips to local stores as well. The boy and girl scout packs they are in are VERY busy with outdoor activities with my son meeting up 2-3x a month and my daughter's girl scouts 1-2x a month. So out with the old and in with the new.The Good:1. NOT lightweight. Why is this good? BEcause it will last. The pot and pan are plenty heavy duty while the rest of the stuff is modern plastic so it makes a nice balance for the set.2. This is a CAMPING set, not backpacking set. I have stuff for backpacking, I wanted a family camping set and this is perfect3. Everything is large enough to be user-friendly and small enough to be camping friendly4. You can add the companion set of 24oz Stanley cups and have a REALLY nice set (shown in one of my photos)5. Everything heated nicely and even on our Coleman stove6. Everything cleaned up easy which is a must when camping7. I got this as an Amazon warehouse deal and the price could not be beatThe Bad:Nothing bad to note just yet but I am going to have to buy one more place setting for my 3-year-old but for now its fine. I'm hoping the extra stuff will still fit in the pot.Other Notes:Stanley has been around forever and they stand behind their products. I don't see why they would be different now. I saw a few negative comments but I always try to read those because often people are to bias or expecting perfection for a discount store price.I will try to answer any questions you have so please feel free to ask.

Excellent camp cook set
This is such a convenient set for camping! The set includes the pot, a small pan, four plates, four bowls, four sporks, a small spatula, a small serving/mixing spoon, and a heat-resistant tray for you to lay the pot/pan on after cooking. It all conveniently nestles into each other, which is the truly biggest appeal since it can be a headache to pack so many different things for camp trips, especially kitchenware. The plates and bowls are on the small side, so you won't be able to pack big meals on them. The pan is also smaller, but great for things like eggs. The pot is a reasonable size. The latch keeps the lid on the pot so nothing falls out. I will continue using this for many more camping trips!

A treasured addition to your gear collection
Stanley makes excellent and well designed products. This pot is durable and well constructed. The locking mechanism of the handle/lockdown lid is simple, strong, and quite effective and I appreciate how simple it is to use without any worry of it accidentally slipping. The included utensils and bowls are also well designed to fit together, be lightweight without sacrificing quality and functionality. The whole collection is quite durable, and functional. It's a really nice little set, I dig it!

If you ever wanted a kitchen quality fry pan but designed for camping.
This pan is awesome. It's built like an actual fry pan with 3 layers of metal (stainless steel/aluminum/stainless steel) on the bottom of the pan to help evenly distribute heat across the entire cooking surface and it actually works pretty well. I mean this is no All-Clad level of frying pan BUT in the camp cookware world this is the best your going to get. Even from pricier brands. Every single camp fry pan that I have seen are all made out of one thin sheet of metal. This is bad because when cooking that thin metal will not distribute heat evenly causing you to burn one area of your food while the other might be cooked properly or under cooked. This imo is the only camp fry out there worth what you pay for it. If this was made by MSR you'd be paying a whole a lot more for this level of quality. Now certain things WILL stick to it like scrambled eggs. If you are FRYING an egg and you don't want it to stick you need to use butter. When you put the butter in the pan wait for the butter to melt. While it's in it's "melted phase" you will see the butter bubbling. Wait for this bubbling to stop. That bubbling is water boiling off from the butter. Once the bubbling has stopped there is no more water in the butter THEN you can put your cracked in the pan and it should not stick or at least not stick as bad. This works in full size pans too. You may need to season this skillet to help prevent sticking. I know it's stainless steel and you don't need to season stainless or what ever but you can get little bit of a seasoning on this skillet. It will help with the sticking.
