**Q: is this ink the same one as in the V5 Pilot pen? tried the brand Waterman to refill my V5, but seems to liquid for this pen. thanks.**
A: This ink is for fountain pens. Fountain pens, ballpoint pens, and and dip pens all use ink of slightly different viscosity. Fountain pen ink has to be fairly liquid compared to others to function properly

The ink is so good. It is thin and thick enough to write smoothly with minimal dips while using a dip pen. It was a pleasure to write with because the consistency was just right for my writing style. I was suspicious because the ink is more expensive directly from Pilot but this is very nice. The color is rich and looks exactly like the color teal. I may order another bottle directly from Pilot to compare; I am astounded at how premium this ink is.
