If you want perfect fitting jeans it is Gloria Vanderbilt. No gaping at the waist, snug fit over the bottom, enough stretchy and great look. You may wait a couple of weeks for them to come over from the USA - but the wait is worth it. I don't know why but the USA trousers always fit so much better than the ones that are available in the UK.

These jeans are at least 1 inch shorter on the inseam than advertised. For perspective, I'm 5'3" and found them to be slightly too short. However, they are a great fit around the hips/butt area. I ended up returning and buying the regular fit, which actually fit a bit different, but better I think (were slightly less form fitting and only a bit too long).

The jeans are a little more stretchy than I wanted as they really hug my thighs and hips, but the waist height is excellent. I hemmed both pairs as I am too short for the standard length and couldn't get "short" in the color and size I wanted. The taper in this Amanda jean means that for curvy ones, you'll need to go up a size. With an hourglass figure, ample bottom, hips and thighs means I'd need to go up a size.If you're figure is straight, this will fit. Pear-shapes, depending on thighs may need to size up, and so will apples.However, the one thing that I did learn and appreciate was finding the perfect inseam length. Approximately 25" give or take. See the pics. The inseam is nowhere near 29". ShortPetite is the length for me. The jeans, however, are too tight and going back.
