These work as you would expect.They dim right down to nothing to be able to wet the perfect light level.They give a nice warm light and the silver surface is extremely robust

Love them, they are fully white opaque, bigger than a normal globe and pur chandelier looks so nice with them!

So many of these bulbs are low in power, but these actually produce decent light. I put mine in a touch-lamp that originally had a frosted glass shade but these look so lovely, I'm keeping the bulb completely exposed now. The only reason I dropped a star is because these are sadly, not not fully dimmable when put in a staged-dimmable lamp & there's no information anywhere (incl. packaging) to warn of this.I used mine in a lamp the brightens in 3 stages & the bulbs can only cope with 2 out of 3. Try for the 3rd/highest level, & the light doesn't stays at the same brightness but also starts to flicker. I tested all 3 to be sure it wasn't an isolated fault in a bulb. I was happy with the brightness with just 2 levels, which are stable & seem to be averaged out between medium & high. Plus, these look so good, unlit or lit on both high or low, that I decided to keep them anyway.
