Glassed is extremely smooth and polished! Mounting hardware larger then expected (i.e. larger holes in the wall), but shelf definitely will hold. Sturdy, well-made, looks good.

Not sturdy - looks nice but I returned it.

The shelf does not comfortably hold the ps3 phat as the weigh pulls the shelf past the metal holder and seems to pull it. I have the shelf secured in 1 stud and 2 anchors and it seemed to tilt forward with the ps3 horizontally. I instead chose to put the ps4 vertically on the shelf and secure it to the wall for stability. Otherwise, the shelf works great and looks fantastic.

It’s a good product. I just wish it had a hole in the glass for cords

we have it mounted behind our tv for the DVD player and receiver, it’s a tad shaky but not to the point where I’m worried about it. The description is accurate.
