My mother bed

I got this for my daughter because even though her mattress is way newer than mine, she loves my old squishy bed so much more than hers. But we got this in and it did have a smell that didn't take very long to dissipate. It didn't take long to poof up either and it fits her twin bed perfectly. However, nothing about it feels cool to me at all. It actually feels hotter, but every foam topper I've ever felt feels that way to me and I actually hate the way they all feel. But I think the technology may be inside this thing to try and make it cooler- I just don't know that it's advanced enough yet to do the job. She only had it on her bed for 1-2 weeks when she came down with a sickness and let me say that I would recommend getting a protector at the time of purchase because foam isn't the funnest to clean. I will definitely be purchasing a protector on my next Amazon order. I had to strip her bed down and put spare sheets on but this couldn't dry and I couldn't get it back on fast enough for her. She said she didn't realize what a difference it made until it was gone and then she missed it very much. It makes her bed taller and a lot cozier, but warmer instead of cooler. She is hot natured anyway, but loves the squishiness enough to deal with any added warmth. I feel like it's a good 2" topper for added comfort and would pick it again for that- but not for added coolness because we don't feel it.

Well, tbh, those beds that come in those rooms, aren't the best or most comfortable things you can sleep on. I bought this for my son, hoping it would help. He said it made a little bit of difference but probably a thicker one would be better. He said it was easy to put on and has no problem with it. So, all-in-all, I say it's a plus.

That's what my son said when we put this on his mattress.So that is very much worth it. I got mine for review, but we did get another for my daughter's bed for the same "cloud" sleeping experience. It's an immediate mattress upgrade without the cost of a whole mattress.

Our 17 year old son has been complaining about his mattress for a while now. He’s off to college next year, so we thought we’d try a topper to see if would help and this option would be less expensive than a brand new mattress. We let it “air out” for a week before putting it on top of his existing mattress, and we didn’t notice any bad smell. We put the mattress pad over the topper and then his sheets. He said he has been sleeping much better as it is much more comfortable this way. I asked about the “cooling” gel and if he noticed anything about the temperature, but he could only say that that he didn’t feel overly warm.We purchased a similar topper for our older daughter a year ago for her college dorm at a big box store and at twice the price - she says this one feels the same, so this is a great buy.

My son has an older mattress that can be somewhat uncomfortable. New mattresses are expensive though. Someone told us we should try a topper prior to ordering a new mattress. They were right! This made all the difference in comfort and sleep quality. If you have a mediocre mattress invest in this instead of a new mattress!

We put this on a guest bed and my niece liked it and wants one for her own bed.
