I do landscaping for a living and often on my knee's weeding flower beds. I have owned many pairs of knee pads which had double velcro straps. The upper velcro strap, cuts into my thigh and by the end of the day, I just want to rip them off. I had bought this exact pair at my local hardware store and loved them! I was excited to see them on Amazon! Stylish and comfortable and perfect for weeding, planting and so forth! Highly recommend them!

I love these knee pads because they only have one elastic strap around the bottom of the pads. When they have a strap at the top and bottom of the knee pad it tends to make your pants bunch up behind your knee which is painful. I love them so much that I have even ordered them as gifts for my parents.

I ordered the iten shown here but in green instead of blue. When ordering it offered a "select a collor" option, but it did not explain that there was a difference when changing the color. When they arrived I discovered that the green did not have the washable vinyl dipped coating that the blue ones have, and these were just foam. I needed them as soon as possible and couldn't take the time to return them. They were ok, but I wanted the washable vinyl dipped coating to protect them from kneeling on damp surfaces and for ease of wiping away paint. Not as good as the blue ones ... I should have just gotten those and forgone the color.
