I love the idea of it being compressed, lightweight and practical.I purchased this for my new found love for house plants and like many, I was surprised when my small package arrived. I followed the instructions and added 3l of warm water to the compressed block and excitedly watched it expand. Having waited approx 15mins. I rummaged through the compost and noticed there were several large dry pieces and so I added more water, bit by bit, as, I didn't want to ruin the compost by adding too much. This did the trick!Unfortunately the bag is too small for someone like me who won't be using the full 10l in one go.This will last me a long time for my house plants usage and, so the sack provided fills up and cannot be sealed and stored for my purpose. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with my purchase and hopefully the several plants I have purchased will be happy and grow healthy through this compost.Thank you for developing such a great and practical idea.I really hope all compost companies follow suit because this is extremely convenient for those who cannot, or struggle to carry huge, heavy sacks of compost especially if you don't drive or have access to a vehicle.

I purchased this product over a year ago for a family member who was extremely pleased with the quality and so, when it came time for me to hunt out decent potting compost, I chose this one.This is delivered as a solid block - and it is quite small and lightweight, far easier to handle than a full bag from a garden centre. Take off the card slip cover and the compost block is kept inside a thick plastic bag - which can also be sealed up afterwards and used as a grow bag.To use, simply add 3 litres of lukewarm water onto the block and wait 5 minutes or so for the "magic" to happen. Gradually, the compost reveals itself and is ready to be used, and is just damp enough to handle and put into pots.This looked and felt like a decent quality compost and now I have repotted some indoor plants, I am looking forward to seeing them continue to thrive. I also have a lot of the compost left but it was simple to fold down the top of the bag, seal it and store it in a cupboard ready for my next tasks.Priced at only £6.99 (a reduced price) when I bought this, I find that to be a great price for 10L of quality potting compost. I will definitely be buying more of this in the future and can certainly recommend it.

I've never seen anything like this before. It expanded when I added water and it worked well in the pots. So far, so good. That said, I doubt I'd buy it again.

As a garden designer, I’ve worked with a wide range of potting soils over the years, so I’m quite particular about what I use. The DIVCHI 10L Potting Soil Multi-Purpose Compost really impressed me with its quality and texture—it’s well balanced, easy to work with, and suitable for a variety of plants. Really nice quality soil. The compact size is ideal and so much easier to handle than the large bags. I thought that I would try this product as there is less likely a chance of the soil having insect infestation which has happened when I have used miracle grow in the past. Its so easy to use. Just pour the recommended amount of water into the bag and wait for it to absorb. I have repotted my plant and have already noticed that my plant has perked up and looks a lot happier.

Every year I order a couple of 40L bags of compost for pots and tubs. This year Evri has been refusing to deliver them, saying they are too heavy, and they have returned them to the seller each time. I've been getting so frustrated with this that I decided to just buy a 10L bag of compost so that I at least had something to be going on with. I was astonished when our regular postman handed me a small package, the size of a book. I hadn't ordered a book and was even more astonished when I opened the package to find that it was 10L of compost! This really is a miracle, because you simply add three litres of warm water to it and within just a few minutes you have 10L of compost. It is like a magic trick. From the small block of compost, there was suddenly enough to fill a 12L pot and put all the plants in. I think this is the way ahead, rather than carrying heavy bags of compost out to the garden and today I have ordered more. It works out more expensive, but for the convenience it is worth it. This year I will be able to monitor how the plants grow in the pots that have this particular compost in it. If it has good water retention, as it states, then it will be another added benefit.
