If you sleep hot, this is 100% the blanket for you. There is nothing on this planet I’ve found to work that’s cost friendly for solving my hot sleeper issues until now. I slept an entire night last night without moving or waking up once. AMAZING is all I can say. As soon as you open the package and feel the fabric, it’s cool to the touch, very cool. It doesn’t get affected by your body temperature what so ever. It’s going to change my life for the better as I’ll be able to actually get the quality sleep I need without waking up sweating or hot. I don’t know how it works, but all I can say is try this cheap solution and I guarantee you won’t regret it. Has no bad smells and is super soft and cold and stays cold. Thank you for making this blanket that’s going to transform my way of sleeping.

I'm an old fat autistic guy who has a tough time sleeping if it's too hot out. I've seen these blankets from time to time and always thought that having a blanket on me when it was hot out was an absolutely insane idea... This blanket changed my mind on that!! I'm in western WA USA and it doesn't often get too hot here, but this summer has been off to a roaring start and it got too hard to sleep so I figured I'd give this a shot. I'm so glad I did! I've had nights where it's been hot out without the blanket even with the fans blowing on me, with the blanket though I'm cool and comfortable! I have no clue what kind of witchcraft is involved in doing this but I love it! I've had nights I've had to take the blanket off because I was too cold!!! Like I said, no clue how it works but I know for sure that it does! The extra bonus to me is that on top of it keeping me cool, I love the texture and feel of this blanket! It's soft against my skin and doesn't leave me feeling like my skin is crawling the way some sheets she blankets will. I sleep on a queen sized bed and while this is more then enough of a blanket for me, it's not quite big enough to cover the bed like another blanket would, so if you're planning on using this for two (not sure if that would work to begin with) it might be best to get each of you one. The color, honestly isn't something that I'm really excited about, but it's nice and doesn't look out of place on my bed. I really can't say enough good things about this blanket. If you're thinking maybe I might get one and you've read this far, don't wait order it now, the only regret you'll have is that you didn't get it sooner!

As the title says, isn't this is a cooling blanket and not a shawl fashion design scene? Well, here's a real review:First off, I'm a hot guy; not in looks but I'm a literal furnace. I'm the kind of guy that stands barefoot in the snow waiting to cool down. If the weather is above 67°F, it's too hot! So, along with a floor AC unit, cooling mattress/sheets, and a fan over the vent for the house AC, I barely get enough sleep to be coherent the next day. Throwing off sheets and back on every few hours every night is a pretty common ordeal for me (and my poor wife.)Cooling:It's very cool to the touch, even in a room where the temp is going up to about 89-91°F. I'm actually surprised it's as cool as it is for just being a piece of fabric.*It's not going to cool your body by up to 10 degrees, though!* That's called hypothermia and dying...but you'll sleep pretty well, if not very well. There's actually been times where the blanket slept too cool! This is in conjunction with an AC unit.Touch:It's practically sleeping with silk; the cotton is softer than the 1200-thread Egyptian cotton we have. Great if you like soft things, not so great if sleeping with wool is more your preference.Weight:I don't think this thing weighs more than 2 pounds. If you need something weighted to help you sleep with this, a quilted throw blanket like your grandma used to make on top would be one of your best bets. Since it's so light and (by design) thin, just be careful not to stretch and catch the blanket. I feel like it can tear pretty easily.Final thoughts:I'm actually pleased with this and I do believe it's worth the $40 price tag. Hopefully it'll last quite a few years.

I love this so much. It’s super soft, cooling and light. I made a mistake of drying it and ruined some areas. But I still used it and helpful to ease my hot flashes. This is like a silk, thin fabric and I noticed always has a fresh smell even you don’t wash it for two weeks. I plan to order another color. Highly recommended. But do not put it in a dryer. Just hang dry it.

When the power went out one hot night recently, this blanket kept me cool enough to sleep all night! It’s an odd material that’s hard to describe- silky light but has a weight to it. I now jealously hoard this blanket! A few caveats: one blanket per person works best; blanket touching on naked skin is key; blanket will warm up eventually esp under other covers (because it made me feel too cold!) but you just expose it to air and it will return to its cooling properties (fluff the blanket up and down a bit).
