ABC Bug Book for Kids

This charming book has a lot to offer a young child -- close-up photos of the fascinating world of BUGS, interesting facts about them, plus a new angle on the ABCs. My two-year-old grandchild chooses this often from his stack of books.

My insect loving son LOVES this book. Clear pictures, insect details and of course learning the alphabet.

I have a 2 and 1/2-year-old that just loves this book. He became obsessed with bugs like 6 months ago and so we got this for him and it's quite durable for being a paperback. Very bright pictures. At least three pictures per letter. Two pages per letter. Lots of different variety as far as bugs and insects. Very informative and easy to read. He's going through his alphabet and loving that right now and I think when he gets a little older and he actually starts reading, he'll enjoy knowing more about the individual bugs themselves. Great value would be good for a gift or just as another book for the house.

Good for kids to have and learn about bugs

Love it the pictures are amazing and my toddler is loving it.

For the title and a fact or two. All critters depicted here are not bugs! (All bugs are insects, but not all insects are bugs in the same way that all bananas are fruit but not all fruits are bananas.) And insects, millipedes, and spiders are ALL arthropods, so calling the latter two arthropods, not insects, is confusing. Better to call them the kind of arthropods they are. My younger brother would have lost his mind over this book when he was the right age for it! I almost didn’t read it, thinking it would be simply an alphabet book with one species per letter or so crowded on each page as to be difficult for a young child to read. I especially loved that photographs were used instead of the cutesy drawings in so many children’s books, and that there are three examples for each letter with some information to accompany them. If only the title and all information were accurate!

Super cute and colorful. My kiddos love this book! It has ALL their favorite bugs...except the dung beetle, instead choosing Dragonfly! Simple and sweet! Great for kiddos 3-7 imo

4 year old loves 🐞 bugs and alphabet! Best of both! Realistic photos!
