The kit includes a nice assortment of hardware, both types of nose pads, and a screwdriver/socket tool. The screwdriver has both a tiny Phillips and tiny flat blade, plus a recess on one end to hold a nut. It took me about 3 minutes to replace the broken nose pads on a pair of readers.The only negative was that the latch on the case snapped off the first time I tried to open it. The hinge posts are tiny and fragile. However, a rubber band holds it shut just fine. And, most of us will need another pair of readers in order to see what we're doing when we fix the first pair.

This kit has the pieces that usually need repair on eyeglasses. Every pair of glasses I've had in the last -- probably twenty years -- has had the nose piece break after a few months. This kit contains silicone nose guards and the screws/bolts that hold them in place. The three-piece screwdriver/nutdriver is the only tool needed to do the repairs. Well, if patience is a tool -- yeah, you need some of that, too.Working on a clean surface is a necessity. These are really small parts and , in my experience, the little screws or the silicone nose piece will get dropped. Searching through carpeting or trying to find a tiny piece across a hard surface floor is not the productive part of eyeglass repair.With that caveat, this is a good kit and did a great job repairing the nose piece on an old pair of glasses I use for gardening, washing my car -- or other dirty tasks where I don't want to scratch my good glasses.For some reason, I received three sets of this glasses repair kit, although only one was ordered.

I bought this small assortment, because it included the M1.4 nuts to fix drilled rimless sunglasses. These are hard to find, and this set includes about 20, and also M1.2, which are a little smaller. Set also includes tiny soft washers, which are needed for the rimless frames. Also includes a bunch of tiny screws, that you may or may not need, and a cheap tool, which works ok. Plastic box is good, and includes dividers in case you want to separate the items into compartments, but they already come in small individual tubes. You really can't go wrong for around 5 bucks.

My old nose pads were hard plastic. They would constantly slip. These replacement pads are much more comfortable and do not slip.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this kit to repair a nose cushion that I had lost along the way. I used to have a generic $1 eyewear repair kit, but I lost that along the way as well. Luckily, I came across this very versatile kit and I fixed my glasses. The small screwdriver alone is worth the price of the kit, but all the different pieces make it a plus. I have yet to lose this kit and I hope I don't so I'll be able to make repairs to my eyewear in the future.

I'm sorry to say that for a while, if I lost a screw or nosepad for a pair of glasses, that was pretty much the end of that pair. Now, with this kit, I can not only tighten and tune up my glasses, but if I lose a screw entirely, I have several options for replacement. Same deal with nose pads.So far, the screws have fit every issues I've thrown at them. You have to do a little trial and error to see what fits since things are so small and it's hard to tell what screw to use if you've lost the original, but I have managed in every case so far.Excellent addition to my tool set as a glasses-wearer. Highly recommended.
