perfect fit, works great!

Size.It works well for the product of its kind. I made sure to measure my windshield, so the fit was fine. Keep in mind, it's one-size-fits most, so I am not saying that it fits perfectly. But: 1) the design is forgiving enough, so if your windshield is slightly smaller, the screen's circles can move closer together. I erred on the large side. 2) the perfect fit, made for my car's make and model would cost me over 80$ based on what I found online.Quality.The quality is alright. I won't lie, when it comes to keeping the car cool, most "accordion"-like products will outperform this flimsy thingie. This is not the fault of this specific shade though, it's an inherent material limitation. That said, most accordion-like shades also won't last more than one season if that. As "accordions" wear out, they start letting more sun in, so their efficiency goes down. This one withstands the test of time. I had it all last season, had my kid step on it, spill soda on it, heavy stuff fallen on it and guess what? It's still alive and well. I intend to use it this next season.Ease of folding.If you can fold this thing fast and easy, then go perform this trick at birthday parties. I never mastered it. So, I just keep it folded in half and only fold it properly when the hot season is over.SummaryGood quality for the money you pay - in my subjective opinion. I used "accordions" before. I like this type of shades better.

It covers my entire windshield, so I’m happy about that. It has the flexible rod, so it’s easy to fit against your window if you need a little alignment. Easy to put away & hide.

Honest review of this product and reasons I will be returning it.I do want to start by mentioning, my friend bought this brand a few weeks ago for her 2021 Chevy Malibu. She had the medium. I have a 2023 Volkswagen GLI and decided to order a large. I did this because the medium in her car didn't fill the corners well. It also lacked the right coverage for my vehicle. I knew a large would be bigger and my vehicle was listed as a medium. Well almost, to be fair it lists a VW Jetta and I have a VW GLI model of the Jetta. The difference being a bit longer and taller, more style options and it has turbo. So my windshield is a few inches taller and wider. I have always used a window shade that is the accordion folding style. It never really blocked all the light and it was difficult to get it to block the sides.As you can see in the images, it covers very nicely. I do have to allow it to overlap. I found if I let the driver side overlap the passenger side, it works better. If I put the driver side in first, and let the passenger side overlap, it has some fitting issues around the mirror. I also tried this large size in my friends 2021 Chevy Malibu. It was really big also in her car, but at least the sides were covered. We had similar results with both sizes for our cars. So that helped her to see that a large wouldn't work either.Some of the major complaints for reviews of this product is that it doesn't fit in the corners well. I have found this to be accurate, however, I was able to figure things out to have it fill in the gaps. When I put this shade into the window, I make sure the excess is not behind the shade. I can then tuck in the corners, fold around the mirror, and get all the light blocked. It does take some extra effort and time to do that. I will touch on both positive and negatives thoughts with this.Positives:This shade does keep your vehicle cooler. Previously with the accordion folding style shade, my steering wheel would still be hot to the touch. My vehicle is black in color, black leather interior, and sits in a parking lot at my townhouse. It is not under covered parking, nor ever in a garage. The Texas heat blasts down on it everyday.I would say this as a positive, and it actually keeps my vehicle cooler than other shades I have ever tried.The fit is alright with a large size for my vehicle. I do wish they had a size between medium and large, as one is too big and the other is too small. I do like that I have extra coverage to fill in the top and bottom corners where the wire doesn't fit to the edges.It is easy to fold and there is a bag to store it in. I do like that I can put it into the bag when not using it. There are also cons to this that I will mention in the negative area.Does it looks nice from the outside? It looks like a hot mess actually. I like that it doesn't have that silver reflective side. I always get blinded by my neighbors across from me when I come out the door. The sun hits the shade and blasts a bright light towards me. I always reversed mine so the silver side was inside my car as a courtesy to others. Now I don't have to worry about it.Negatives:The fit isn't perfect and it takes extra effort and energy to get it just right. I pull my visors down just out of habit, as that is how my previous shade was kept in place. I do believe you will need to use the visors, as the corners won't stay in place all the time. I also don't like how the circle wires will twist as you try to fit the shade in the windshield.The medium and large has a huge size difference and I wish they had a size between the medium and large. If you look at the styles that are recommended for a medium, they all don't resemble each other in size. For example, I have a Hyundai Accent that lists medium also. The size difference in both of my cars are quite different. The Hyundai Accent windshield size is 67.7 inches long and 46.5 inches wide. While the listing shows a medium would fit, I don't see that happening. The medium size is only 62 inches long. The large is 66 inches long, however, I tried my current shade in the car and it is way to large. So I am not even sure where they are getting the sizes of these shades. I guess that is why this item is frequently returned.I do also want to mention the design as being a negative. I think the inner hoops as being circular are not the best option. If they were more oblong circles, it would work better. You literally have 4 points that hold in place. With mine being larger, I was able to get that more oblong shape. With a medium size, it was barely touching around the edges to be held in place. It would also help with the sturdiness to be held up correctly. As for the thickness, I also believe it should have a thicker material so it is easier to bunch up in the corners to block out the light.As for the storage bag. It will be something I eventually stop using. The top is open, which makes it easy to slide the shade into. Well kind of. It does take some effort because when it comes in the bag, everything is vacuum pressed to make it appear flat and compact. Once you open it and use it, the flat aspect is gone. Think of a person with size 14 feet trying to squeeze into a size 10 shoe. I like the elastic tie, however when you are trying to fold it up and twist it up, it is easy to twist it where the elastic strap is inside the shade. Then you got to untwist and retwist to make sure it is showing. I think an improvement would be some sort of plastic zipper so you can squish it down to release all the air from the bag. Then it would be compact enough to store in the seat pouch or between the seats and the console.Advice:Get ready to be aggravated at some point. The amount of energy and effort can be worth the payout. My husband got into my car so we could go out for dinner. I am always the driver of my car. He waited probably 5 minutes for me to get my shade out of the window and folded. When we returned, he was already inside the house and 10 minutes had passed because I was trying to adjust my shade. Needless to say, he is keeping his accordion folding shade for his car. He doesn't have the patience to fiddle with it. I see the benefit of it, but I really need to consider the amount of effort and patience needed. If I am running late for work, I don't want to spend 10 minutes trying to get my window shade adjusted.I have asked myself, should I just return this shade? Maybe try for a medium? The answer is yes and no. I already know the medium will not fit in my vehicle, since I have tried the fit with the shade my friend bought. So no, I won't be returning it for a different size. Will I be returning this product? More than likely. I am not sure how much more patience I can continue to have, even with the benefits of the shade keeping my black car cooler for the summer. Sometimes your sanity is worth more than a horrible design.I am giving it 3 stars because it did keep my car cooler. It has some neat ideas to work, but the construction and ease of use drops my rating. If the manufacturer would work out a few design flaws, the product could be amazing. Then I factored in with the fact that I will be returning this product.

This fits across the windshield very well. I like the edges, as you can adjust to fully block out even the hard to reach areas. Keeps vehicle much cooler.

It is a nice wind shade, but Amazon said it would fit my car and it is way too big. I am keeping it because it does fit in a window in my house and I will be ordering the next size down which Amazon said would not fit. It is still a very good price and good quality. It is easy to unfold, but a bit difficult to fold back down and put into the bag that came with it. To me, that is not very important. Just be careful if you follow Amazon's recommendations. Measure for yourself first.
