Works perfectly
One day, my bathroom sink got clogged with a small toy car that my son had accidentally dropped down the drain. I tried everything to get it out - plunging, pouring hot water, even using a coat hanger - but nothing worked. That's when I remembered I had purchased the plastic snake clog remover from Amazon.I was skeptical at first, but as soon as I used the first tool to capture the toy car, I knew I had found the solution to my problem. The multi-tooth design of the drain cleaner caught the car and allowed me to easily pull it out of the drain. But the story doesn't end there! As I was cleaning up the mess, I noticed that the second tool was specifically designed to hook hair and debris.I couldn't resist trying it out, and to my surprise, it pulled out a clump of hair that had been clogging the drain as well. I couldn't believe how easy and effective this tool was in solving my problem. What's even better is that this product is much healthier and less expensive than chemical drain cleaners, so it's a win-win situation.Overall, I highly recommend this plastic snake clog remover to anyone looking for an effective, convenient, and even funny solution to unclog their pipes and drains. It's a must-have tool for every household, especially those with kids who like to play with small toys!

Patience is needed, but they work great if you don't rush through the process.
I have exceptionally long, coarse, strong hair. Our bathroom sink and bathtub drains take some punishment from my hair accumulating. The water basically comes to a standstill, and liquid plumber doesn't even touch it. So, manual removal is the only step left. We can't afford to have a plumber out to snake the drain all the time, so I just tried these. I couldn't be happier. They worked as expected. However, I will agree they are very sharp, so I wore disposal rubber gloves (which you should anyway because if you have hair in there like mine, it's going to be nasty.) Also, the complaints I saw say it gets stuck and breaks. It does get stuck, but that's the nature of the design, you need to be patience and work it out with finesse, not brute strength or it is going to cause more of a problem. Just work it back and forth, and try to get it perpendicular to the drain and it should be a smoother removal. One note, if you have a respirator, wear it. The smell of that gunk is absolutely gag reflex inducing. But both drains are no longer clogged. I'm also not cleaning this off. I'm just going to use one each time we need it, and buy new ones once we run out. It's totally worth me not having to try and clean this grotesque gunk off the plastic snakes. I would highly recommend these. (I have not tried the metal ones yet, I only gave the plastic ones a shot today.) Also, they are easy to use, so I did it myself, since it's my hair, and my husband is very grateful for that!

Great, with a bit of caution/advice to the user.
I purchased these to clear my wife's hair from our shower drain. The plastic zips (for lack of a better word) worked great at loosening up the hair and clearing out the drain. The metal ones did nothing, but YMMV, of course.I'm writing this to give a bit of advice. The plastic zips didn't pull much hair out, not as much as I expected, and after using them, I ran the tub to find that the clog was worse than before! I was very disappointed. Then I turned the shower to full-blast and let it run for about 5-10 minutes. Whatever the clog was, I must've loosened it, because it pushed through and cleared right up! So don't freak out and call a plumber right away if it seems worse or doesn't help, flush it out at a high water speed first to make sure you can't clear it out first.

Environmentally safe and works so well
I am so happy that I got these! My bathroom sink was so slow to drain that I stopped using it about a month ago. I couldn't get the middle piece out to clean it easily, putting drain cleaner down the drain did nothing to help (I absolutely hate to use drain cleaners too as they are so toxic). I was desperate to find something that would work I couldn't stand looking at the gross dirty sink. I got these and rushed to the bathroom to try to get this down the drain. I pulled up a bunch of gross hairy goop. I had to push this down under the plug and plunge up and down then pulled it out several times each time big globs came out. After about 15 minutes of doing this my sink finally drained quickly and easily. I now have a beautiful shiny clean sink I can use again. My tub too was starting to drain a bit slow. I tried the plastic drain snake but the hair in the drain was really thick (yuck) so I used the metal one. There is a little metal claw that grabs the hair easily. It tooks a few minutes to pull up all the hair. I won't be stuck with slow drains anymore. I love these tools and there are several that come with this set so if one gets too yucky or breaks you have plenty more to use. Thank you for giving me back the ability to get my sink clean and use it once again.

Good price for what u get. Good for large open drain access only
Too wide to use with drains that may have some kind of covering . Even if u get it down with the slick sticks with little arms sticking out , it's the little arms that are now working against you to pull it out. I have no doubt these would be great for a totally open drain with a large circumstance. And for that I'm sure they'd be a great deal. For what I was needing something I needed something thin, and long. Which this did appear to be longer than others. The width was the same as others from what I could tell. It was a better deal though and for that reason I figured it would come in handy for future use.
