Soles are falling off
I like the fit and style of these Sketchers. The reason I bought this particular pair in August 2017 was because I had the exact same pair that lasted years under rigorous daily use. Unfortunately although these sneakers look and fits the same, the quality leaves a lot to be desired even though I have treated this pair more gently and wear them less frequently than the previous pair. Not sure if this is a one-off problem or indicative of diminished quality control in general but after about six months both soles started coming apart from the top part of the sneaker with the right sneaker being the worst (see attached photo). I wanted to inform the manufacturer directly and give them an opportunity to replace this defective pair but there doesn't appear to be any way to share feedback with them except through this public forum.

Five Stars
I am revising my original review from a five star (based on the initial comfort level of the shoes) to a 1 star for durability. After VERY light use, in a very short span of time..........both my husband and son (I purchased two pair) have had the bottom of the shoe separate from the upper portion. I went back after that happened to them and read a bunch of the bad reviews on here....and sure enough, this has happened to many, many others. They are inferior quality glue on their shoes and it is causing a problem. People spend good money on these shoes and Skecher should be completely ashamed of themselves not addressing this issue by now.

Poor Quality Leads to Shoes Falling Apart - Do Not Buy!
I am very disappointed with the quality of these shoes. I owned a pair of these for years and when it came time to replace them, I figured I would just buy the same ones again. However, it appears that the manufacturing quality has gone down since the first time I bought these as the new pair we quick to start falling apart. After the first time wearing these, I noticed that the inner sole of the shoes were separating from the overall shoe (appears to be sewn on). I returned those thinking they were just "defective" and received a new pair of the same shoes. But after wearing this new pair, the same thing happened. Now I am stuck with a pair of new shoes that have already started falling apart after normal wear. These used to be great shoes and having worn my first pair for year until they needed replacement, I would have easily recommended them. However, based on the quality of the last pair of these shoes I received, I will not be buying from Skechers again and I would definitely not recommend these shoes as they will not last.

Falling Apart
Right shoe completely un bonded from sole. June 25 delivered, return window closed Jul 25 and guess what fell apart 7 days later on Aug 2nd. Never had this happen with previous orders. Was hoping to return the product but that electronic window is closed and other than leaving a bad review I couldn't find a contact e-mail to discuss the 30 day plus 7 failure of what used to be fairly decent shoes. Will follow this up if i hear from someone.

they hold up nicely and very comfortably
I am a large guy, I weigh 350+ lbs. I stand 10 hours a day at work and walk nearly 8 miles daily while I am there. New shoes after a month wear out in my workplace. Between my size and the amount of use and wear these Sketchers get, they hold up nicely and very comfortably. I have tried other more expensive shoes, and adding shoe inserts, the gels, the $50 molded inserts from the kiosk in walmart, They help for some time, but after a month I either have to buy more inserts, or another pair of shoes. Every 4 months or so the memory foam in these shoes is no longer functional and starts to turn into a powder, and I go online and order another set. I have purchased multiple of these because they seem to last the longest while remaining comfortable. If you are not 6' 8" 350 lbs. and dont walk 15,000 steps in a day on hard concrete floors, These shoes will probably last longer.

My go-to shoe!
These are incredible shoes. I wore New Balance for years until their quality went down the tubes. It took a while to settle on this brand, but I'm sure glad I did! The shoes fit well, are very comfortable, breathable, look great, and stay clean looking with almost no maintenance. I love the memory foam on the inside. It holds up well and feels good around the toes, especially when you first put them on. I wear these all day to work and put on probably 4-6 miles per day walking. The only problem is that the soles wear out in about six months. This seems to be true of virtually all athletic shoes in this price range (at least, that I've found), so just be aware. In any case, they are inexpensive enough to replace as needed. I hope Sketchers continues to make these shoes at the same level of quality, because they are my go-to shoe from now on.Update: My last pair lasted exactly on year and still look good, but I replaced them anyway just because I wanted a different color.

Shoe reviews are so subjective...but these are excellent
It's hard to shop for shoes by reading other people's ratings, as the fit & comfort is so subjective. What's important to me is quality; I hate it when shoes start having the soles separate, laces fray or snap, eyelets break or rip out after 3 to 6 months. My last pair of shoes, Rockports that I got on Amazon as well, lasted a good 3 years so quality was excellent, but they pinched my big toes at the inside tips and over time were causing me bad pain. The pain went away when I wore other shoes or boots. As soon as I put on these Skechers, a brand I'd never tried before, I found there was enough room for my big toes to "breathe", so-to-speak, and not rub at the front of the shoes. No pain whatsoever, and the size 9 fit me perfectly, as it ought to--I'm typically a very ordinary, average size 9 so I could say the fit was exactly as expected. The memory foam insoles are very comfy, never had that before either...it feels like you're walking on little clouds or pillows. That probably sounds like a tad of hyperbole, but they really DO feel that comfortable!I've only been wearing them a few days but these Skechers have exceeded my expectations...and I can only hope the quality and durability holds up.EDIT Sep 16, 2020: I've had these shoes just past a year now and they're holding up great. Soles are still solidly attached, no flip-flopping, laces still good and unfrayed, stitching all still looks tight. Glad I made the right choice on these shoes.

Excellent quality, durability and comfort - a 1 year use perspective
Rather than pop up reviews straight away, I think it's more useful to actually _use_ a product for a time. In this case, I owned and used these shoes for about 1 year by the time to sole was showing signs of wearing through. Attached to this review are pictures comparing the new (left/top) to the old so you can see how usage affected them. For context, I am a fairly big guy - 187cm (about 6'2"), and 95kg (about 210lb). I tend to burn through my primary footwear in a short time, with most shoes struggling to make it to one year. I walk my dog every day along with a good bit of walking at work, as well as cycling and other personal adventures; I'm quite active and would say I average 3 to 5km a day of walking. What impressed me most about these shoes has been the durability. As early as 5 months after getting new shoes, I sometimes have to use glue to reattach bits of the sole or parts of the body of the shoe that start to come apart - this has been true of Reeboks, Nikes, Timberlands, Merrells and many others. These Sketchers are the first in years to make it through without needing any repair. That includes the inside. Often I find the insides begin to disintegrate as well, with liners coming out and sometimes parts of the shoe rubbing or becoming uncomfortable - these held up fine. The sole did not wear through at any point, or through the process of wearing, expose some hollowed out area beneath (which some shoes have, and which only accelerates wear at that point). They do seem to have a red wear-indicator which you can see at the toe-end of the old shoe's sole. At that stage, it feels like there's maybe a millimetre or so of sole left. And perhaps a small thing, but I'm also impressed with how well the laces held up too. The plastic tips on the end of the laces tend to start coming apart, and sometimes the laces themselves break, but as you can see in the first picture, the laces of the old shoe look almost as good as the new ones.As for comfort, fit and function, the shoe impressed me there from the start. They're very lightweight, and they fit and conform well to your foot. They're comfortable on long walks and/or runs, as well as comfortable for bicycle riding. Wearing them all day in the office is also quite comfortable - they are breathable enough that you don't feel like you're overheating in them. They also clean up very well. I try to take care of my shoes and keep them clean, and despite ending up dusty/sandy or with mud on them many times, you can see from the pictures that in the end, they still cleaned up well and looked good.I would absolutely recommend these - first time in well over a decade I actually bought the same shoe twice because I was pleased with how it held up. Yes, it would be nice if the soles were a bit more durable in shoes, but I think that's a problem across all brands. For the price, this shoe is a fantastic value and well worth the purchase.

Seller seem a good company.
The item turn up well before due date. I got a surprise from the post office saying i owed money for handling. Not happy about this so i contacted seller and they said they would refund the money I paid out. Very pleased with this. Thank you. ( Only gripe here is that i had to leave work early to collected them , not a door to door service . )As for the sketchers, I ve had them before ( different shop) so i know what to expected and so far , so good. I'm a 8.5 in the foot so i always get a 9 ( 43 ) and they fit great. If they fall apart in the next few days you'll here from me but I think these will be good trainer. So far very pleased.I have had the Sketchers for nearly two months and have to say they are good . I went for a wide fitting and these are . Only thing is the memory foam seems to have contracted Alzheimer lolBut still comfortable .

Sturdy. Comfortable. Beware, comes in US sizing!
Arrived from USA slightly quicker than expected. Ordered the US size which was 11.5 (equivalent to 10.5 in Uk sizing). Fits exactly as expected. Still very new but already comfortable with a nice width at the ball of the foot giving a nice 'roomy' feel without being too big. They are quite a sturdy shoe so don't have the light weight feel of some other Skechers designs. Don't know yet how long lasting they will be but I'm very happy I bought them.

Hard shoes like cement
Nice design, tender plate, very hard sole. Nothing to do with the shape ups they made before. Shoes that are very hard and not comfortable. I do not recommend them. This brand makes increasingly uncomfortable shoes.
