This machine is pot metal junk. Nothing really fits well at all. I have had it working only once or twice then something lets loose. The heavy duty fly wheel does not align to the transmission. The casting is bad . As such the belt continues to come off. The needle guide slips if you try to sew Dacron, which the product advertises it will sew through eight layers. It will not sew through 3 layers as it broke the machine. The main part that holds the fly wheel is made of pot metal as the set screws slip it cuts a grove in the metal. And finally after fighting this the needle hit the bobbin bending it and breaking in half a major internal component, again pot metal. This is Chinese junk and why Amazon would allow it to be sold is beyond me. Do not buy its junk and a pile of frustration. I will add this. The seller offers no help and does not support his product except for the 30 day return policy by Amazon.After talki to Amazon and describing the issue as the product was falsely advertised by the seller and was not fit for intended use I was given a refund by Amazon. So four stars for Amazon none for seller.
