A Much Needed Wake Up Call To the Church
This book is a call to action for Christians. It is a call to recognize our sin, our pride, arrogance, & hatred manifested when we find fault with each other. It is a call to see the compromises that we have made with the world & the world's systems thereby "losing our soul" as the Church. It is a call to see that we can no longer impact the world, because the Church has become like the world. It is a call to truly BE the body of Christ that is represented in many different kinds of churches & denominations. It is a call to the Church to set aside our fundamental differences; to see each others strengths; to work together in unity to fulfill the Great Commission, and TO BE THE CHURCH serving each other & the world, with the humility, love, & sanctity of Christ. It is a call to us, both corporately & individually, " to be holy as Christ is holy". A tall order & one, that if pursued, could cause great controversy; an order brought to us by a modern saint. An order that needs to be followed. This is a book written with eloquence, foresight & great wisdom with the knowledge that "all things are possible with God". A book I recommend for both laity & clergy alike.

good
the font is unnecessary big but the book itself is actually smaller in content than I thought. a compact edition would benefit.

WW1 from an orthodox perspective
Having read CS Lewis it was interesting to read this religious work from the same era. A different but useful, especially in today's world in turmoil, just the same perspective.

Wonderful book.
Eye opening book about the state of our churches. We should strive to be united, not divided. Needs to be read over and over.
