Kinetic Old Style Small Wheel Adapter

I was issued a full refund. This is why. Amazon GLobal UK is selling this item as the OLD KINETIC Wheel Adapter. The T500. IT IS NOT THE T500. It is the New Wheel adapter which neither looks like nor fits the current Kinetic Trainer that I own. I am now the third review that has stated this. I also filed a complaint because this I believe is a fraudulent practice. Its need to stop. When I tried to ship this item back to Great Britain from the US, UPS wanted 320 dollars. You have been warned.

I bought this because my son wanted to hook up his bike to my trainer. It's pretty easy to setup, is basically like setting up the resistance unit on the trainer. If anything... just keep an eye on to where the squared "holes" are for the bolts. The bolts with the squared portions obviously go thru those ones, and the nuts will be near the round holes. This makes the kurt kinetic trainers fun for adults and for kids now.*note*..... make sure that the hardware is sent to you since they are part of the adapter.

This is a well engineered piece of gear. It fit perfectly on my Kinetic Road trainer, took 5 minutes to mount it. Now I can exercise on my Catrike Road recumbent tricycle during these dark rainy months here in Washington State. The trainer really is a great piece of gear and I was disappointed when my trike 20 inch tire wouldn't reach the flywheel, then I discovered by accident that they make this accessory to solve that problem. The trainer also makes a good work station mount for your bike while you clean the chain or work on the gearing etc.

This will help with any bike too small for the trainer. My only con is that there is not a quick way to change back to my bike when I want to use the trainer. Have your wrench handy.

I should have read the reviews. It took a month to arrive and low and sure enough it's not the OLD style adapter and its completely useless to me as I have an old style Kinetic trainer. I was looking forward to using Zwift with my kid so thanks for nothing!

My wife wanted me to order this for her Rock 'n Roll trainer because her road bike has 650c sized wheels. After reading the description both here and on other sites it sounded like she did need this wheel. I didn't do too much research because this is what she told me and a cursory glance at both Amazon and Kurt websites suggested this be the case.It is NOT needed. Nothing is wrong with what we receieved it just wasn't clear in any description of the product. I'm giving four stars because the product is exactly as described and is built well, but since it isn't need for most cases I just don't really see the point in having it.

It fits even the very, very old grey styles perfectly. I got this to ride my Bike Friday on, but I need a different skewer, so watch out for that. I have a Shimano Dual Drive, BTW. It is also worth noting that you will want to raise the front of the bike as well, or you will be tilted forward like going downhill.

You sent the wrong model. Now I have to order the newer trainer so this adapter will fit my Brompton bike. The item description says Old Style but it's the new style.
