Know what you are doing!
This product has received so many bad reviews simply because people do not know what they are doing! Bacteria forms quickly on organic materials; this is the white fuzziness that forms on driftwood and the cloudiness in the water (bacterial bloom). This is completely natural and normal! The fuzz itself is completely harmless to your fish. What you need to worry about however is how much wood you put into your tank. Driftwood naturally secretes tannins. I, personally, am a big fan of tannins because it gives the tank a tea color, is a natural water conditioner, and it relieves fish stress. I still boil my driftwood it for at least an hour anyway. I do this because tannins lower the pH of your tank. If your water becomes too acidic you could hurt your fish!To combat these issues: do partial water changes regularly, check your water parameters, look for changes in fish behavior, have snails or use a toothbrush or q-tips to clean algae off the wood. It's really that simple! Do this for a couple of weeks and your tank will be back to normal! As far as the seller, terrific value! This was the only bundle of driftwood I could find on Amazon that had small enough driftwood for a reasonable price. I always worry about over crowding my tank, so a smaller size was important for me. All four pieces fit perfectly in my 10 gallon tank with extra room. I even received my package several days early! I'm impressed! They packaged the wood very securely. It took me several minutes to get through the packaging because I wanted to be extra careful. To my surprise, my driftwood had several pieces with thin branches ( which I was really hoping to receive) these could be expected to break easily, but the package saved them. Also, embarrassingly enough, the title of the product tells you that it will have small pieces and yet, so many people left a bad review expecting big pieces.Whenever I would like to change tank decorations, the wood has no problem drying out and presents with no tannins or bacterial bloom when placed back into the tank.Anyway, wonderful product, would buy again!

Great sizes and Price
Was really nervous about ordering these pieces for my aquarium since the price was drastically lower than others I was seeing. I love the sizes I got for my 5 gallon tank. Boiled mine for a few hours and they darkened a little. Quality is great and packaging was really good to protect from breakage during shipping.

Not terrible
Ok so took a gamble and ordered two orders lots of reviews said go for it, some said not really worth it. Well some of the pieces are actually pretty cool looking and pretty solid. A couple of the others are basically twigs and pieces have already broken off them just opening the package. So not terrible could be a little better but will do for the Betta/shrimp tanks I suppose.

Great tank addition
Nice pieces, I wish I would’ve gone with a larger size but they were all great and I’m pleased with the purchase, they look nice in the tank :)

Very small
Yes I read the reviews and knew they were smaller than most people thought they were going to be.... but these look like roots. They did darken after a few hours in the tank, and it only took them a couple of hours soaking in a bucket before they sunk. I’m debating about cutting off the little twigs on them because there is just way too many I feel like. I’m going to use them anyways though!

Quality Wood at a Great Price
I was very impressed with this wood when I received it. The pieces are gorgeous and look just like the product description picture. When you receive them they are a light color but when you place them in water they darken up a little.I boiled mine for 24 hours to leech the tan in sout before placing in my aquarium. This also helps to ensure that other things such as germs or bacteria are killed as well. It's up to you to decide how much of the tandon's you wish to keep in this wood before placing in your aquarium. I cama personally, have come to like more of a brackish looking water and I think my fish are happier as well with it. Even after boiling this this does slowly Leach tandon's into the water and probably will for quite some time. This is typical of all driftwood, however. All together, I am very happy with these and think it is a great deal.

Decent for the price
Bummed out that the thinner pieces I received were broken but the pieces are still decent for my betta fish tank. I just didn’t get lucky like some other did! Still worth the price as driftwood is pretty pricey
