Extremely comfortable and affordable chair
First I just want to point out that Top Sky's customer service is fantastic. They responded to my email within one hour and resolved my problem. You can buy this chair with confidence.Shipping was a bad experience. No fault of the manufacture, but the deliverer just handed me the box and power-walked out of sight. The side I could see when he handed it to me was the good side of coarse, when I brought it in to further inspect, the other side of the box was banged-up and even pierced. It was carried upside-down during delivery. The packaging of the chair is my only main gripe with the chair. No Styrofoam or even bubble wrap. All the parts are wrapped in plastic and small thin cardboard, and are just loosely in a big box. Moving the unopened box, you will hear all the pieces moving around. I inspected all the parts, and to my surprise it wasn't as bad i thought it was going to be. Some parts had scuff marks etc. but don't let let that stray you. What you're getting with this chair is an outstanding deal. I sat in many mesh chairs in stores, and the only ones with the features of this chair were 2x the price atleast. And this chair IS comfortable, supportive, relaxing, and adjustable. The black version of this same chair sells for WAY more than this blue model for some reason, and if you're like me you've done a lot of research seeking a good chair. The black version received a lot of negativity due to claims that the armrests aren't 3D. I assure you: They adjust up/down, forward/in, left/right. It's actually a 3.5D chair, because during installation, you can choose to install the arms closer to the seat or further out. You can change this again afterwards, but it would be difficult. The seat itself is really supportive in a good way. Sometimes I have days where I sit in the chair for 10+ hours, and I was surprised how good it feels during very long use. Fresh out of the box I found it a little too stiff. I think this was a great thing because after a short break-in the chair feels a bit softer while remaining supportive. I've never received a sore-bottom from this chair. The back is also great. Feels a little cheap, but overall it's great and you get use to it. I love the tilt-lock that works fantastically. The lumbar support is adjustable, but only more/less, it's not height adjustable. I'm 5"7 160 lbs and the chair feels like it was built for me. Anyone from 5"5 to about 6"2 would find this chair suitable.I was planning on buying some suede armrest pillows, but I like the feel and support of these honestly. I thought they would feel cheaper and harder. They are hard and soft at the same time, and really feel high-quality. Very pleasantly surprised here. Also putting added cushion support to the armrests will make them sit higher. This is something I didn't think about, but I like to sit close to my desk with the armrest underneath it just to the point where there's a little clearance so no rubbing against the desk. With added pillows, I'd have to sit lower in my chair, and I hate that. Almost perfect armrests. The headrest is also great. It's not in the instructions, but YOU NEED TO TIGHTEN ONE SIDE WHILE USING ANOTHER WRENCH TO KEEP THE CONNECTING BOLT STILL. With only the included wrench, you won't be able to comfortably adjust the headrest anywhere and it will be almost useless. Once tightened using another wrench of the same size that is included, it's reaLLy great and comfy. Most the time I keep it behind my head, but sometimes I lower it down and point it upwards one notch and it completely supports my neck and relieves pain. Once you tighten that main bolt that connects the headrest to the chair, you never have to adjust the "swing" kind of adjustment and then you can raise and lower it as well as tilt it back and forth.Overall, I'd say it looks better in person than in photos. A surprising A- here. Packaging and assembly gets a D. Not only is it packaged very poorly, but lining up the back to the seat can be frustrating. I didn't run into any problems, but I did read about others who pointed out that it can be extremely hard to connect the gas lift to the chair and then the back to where it all lines up properly. I set aside plenty of time and took my sweet time building the chair, and it pays off. If you don't rush and focus on some small details while putting it together, you'll end up with it being perfectly lined up, very sturdy, and my chair does not squeak even rocking my body while the tilt-lock it being used.Comfort is a solid A-, but for a chair of this price it's an easy A+Also it's not navy or dark blue, it's just blue.

Severe back pain? Buy this chair. Great customer service, too.
If you have back pain and you're on a budget, this is the chair for you. I suffer from inoperable, severe back pain, but I have a work-from-home desk job. I must be able to sit for long stretches of time. My previous chairs caused me a lot of pain, but this one is perfect and passes my two evaluations: the all-day pain test and the customer service test.All-Day Pain TestYou can read about how adjustable the chair is in its description, but nothing compares to sitting in the chair for hours at work. The lumbar support is good, but the chair's overall design makes it one that I can tolerate all day without taking any pain pills. The seat's wide and comfortable. The arm rests are wide and adjust up and down, so I can have my arms supported while at the keyboard. I can rest my entire torso along the back of the chair, from my hips to my head, so there's no neck or shoulder pain, either. When I'm done working, I leave the chair with no additional pain. I can walk around my home without feeling as if I'd been in the saddle all day, instead of been at my desk. My test, though, is tougher than that: do I need a pain pill after sitting in the chair all day? No. No additional medication is necessary. That's my all-day pain test and the chair passes with no exceptions.Customer Service TestMy chair shipped with a broken part. At first, Amazon wanted me to send the whole thing back. Seriously. My husband had *just* put it together. Instead, my husband did a part work-around and Amazon gave us a discount. Still, I contacted the seller in the hope I could get a new part. The seller is awesome. The seller answered my message promptly and worked out an acceptable solution with me. So, Amazon and the seller both passed my customer service test. Thank you both.I added skate wheels to my chair and I use a foot rest, too; I recommend both.My overall recommendation: Buy this chair if you have back problems. It's comfortable and creates no new pain. The seller and Amazon are responsive to buyers who have issues with the purchase. I highly recommend this product. This is an UNPAID review. No one has ever paid me for a review, but I wish they'd start. Seriously. How can I get that gig? :)

TopSky Chair Review. Downgraded to 1 star after few months of use
I ordered one and it came with a broken lever. Amazon(thank you) initiated a refund and I ordered another one.2nd one had defective wheel which would not go in fully and headrest assembly was wobbly which indicated structural damage. Thankfully, I still had the 1st chair so I exchanged those parts. After assembly was done, 2 black washers were extras as the diagram(made by a 7 year old child) did not have them anywhere. I even asked my family to take a look to see if I am blind. If anyone knows where they are suppose to go, please leave a comment by the review.I am attaching pictures of the assembly. Most bolts did not have any washers(!!!) making the bolts sit on the edge, prone to breakage. I am a bit scared to sit at this point as I just don't trust it. I am sure in time those bolts will snap. Please see the pictures! You can also see HUGE gaps where bolts meat the chair @ armrest assembly. Makes no sense! As per manufacturer's picture, do note that armrests are waaay too forward and just like it shows on the picture the guy touching the edge of the armrest with his elbow, same thing here. Manufacturer should've positioned the armrests about 2-4 inches back towards the back of the chair. As right now the chair is NOT ergonomic at all if I cannot rest my hands! The neck/head rest is wobly and I've tighten it a ton to the point I am scared to do it any more an it's still lose and when you put some decent pressure on it, it moves back. Again, poor design of the chair. The material of the char is pretty rough. I feel it with my back when I wear a light cotton t-shirt - not comfortable. The chair pad itself is not that soft either. It's ok, but could be much softer and so rough. I wouldn't be able to work in my shorts and you would not able to sit comfortably at all without a t-shirt or in under pants... NO WAY!! Armrests are not plastic, but also hard. Left armrest is 1" higher than the right one...There's some kind of snapping sound when I sit down at times. I am not sure if those are the bolts being broken or something else, but a bit scary. The chair is not 90 degrees! It about 100-105 degrees which is not ideal for work, again, making this chair not ergonomic and poorly designed.Good: It's wide, there's back lumbar support. So far I can't find anything good about it as there are just too many negatives. See the pics for issues with bolts.2 weeks use EDIT:Chair seat is also short if you are 6'. Because of the arc of the back, you are not sitting on about 6" on the pad and your legs are more forward( about 6" from the padding to the calf) with no padding support, making this chair not ideal for tall people.I am also often sliding forward as the chair is very smooth so I have to adjust myself constantly and make sure my legs are planted firmly to "hold" myself or I slide forward.... I am 6' 185lb.Overall, it is better than my previous officer chair, but it is still not ideal. The headrest hasn't been utilized much as it moves back and forth due to VERY poor design. You just can't tighten it enough!Armrests are still a big issue so next week I will try to switch them around so that they are facing backwards or they are literally useless. The chair also gives a loud click/breaking sound when I sit down, like something is being snapped.1 more edit after few months:Chair seat is starting to tear off. Bummer. This should not have happened and speaks volume about bad quality described above. The tear is ugly and big. I have to buy a cover to hide it. Horrible construction
