great wee learning toy. My grandson loves the colour yellow and enjoys the shape activity. We have lots of fun.

This is a gorgeous wooden shape sorter, shaped like a cute and colourful barn and my little one is currently learning hand eye co-ordination so it is ideal.The barn is solid and chunky and the shapes are chunky too for small hands. There's 12 shapes and to get them out again you open the roof to pour them out again.Nicely made and something that is built to last, looks lovely on the shelf too, recommended.

I think that my 15-month-old granddaughter is the perfect age for this post and play barn, which is the usual top quality build from Galt.The wooden barn is decorated with cute farmyard animals and little creatures that are instantly recognisable. Both the barn and the 12 colour-coded wooden shapes are painted in nice bright colours and the good quality wood material is finished off nicely with no rough edges.There is a carry handle on the top of the roof and both of the roof panels are easy to attach and remove for storing and retrieving the posted shapes.The shape sorter holes are a good fit and not too snug, which makes it great for my granddaughter to work on developing her hand and eye coordination. Each of the shapes will fit into two of the holes (three for the orange rectangle) around the barn giving my granddaughter the option of which hole to post them in.This is an educational toy with colour recognition, animal identification and hand/eye coordination. It looks and feels like it is robust and built to last. I think that this post and play barn would be perfect for use in a nursey school where lots of children can play with it and I would love to see it passed to a group when my granddaughter eventually stops playing with it.This post and play barn definitely lives up to the high expectations that I have of Galt and I think the current price of £18.25 is good value.

Comes well presented in a cardboard box with it showing exactly what you're getting. The whole set inside is wooden, which has all been brightly painted. You get 12 chunky shape pieces and a barn with cut out shapes all over. It looks and feels of good quality. The barn has a lovely painted farm scene around the sides, with the roof being removable to access the shapes which has been posted inside. Everything is completely smooth to touch, no rough edges or areas anywhere. The shapes are all a good size to grasp, hold and play with. They fit well through their designated holes, not being a tight fit, with a wider opening to make it easier. Ideal to help children develop fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and problem solving. Ideal for both boys and girls. Well made and would withstand alot of hands on play. Would even make a lovely gift.

This post and play barn is simply beautiful, from the outer box to the toy itself.The barn is vibrantly painted in red and has a tractor, with sheep on the side, where there is a space for the right wooden shape to be posted. On the opposite side, you have a horse where another shape waits for the wooden toy to be slotted inside. And at each end, you have a cow standing by a shaped hole and a round hole above him, and some chickens with two two shape holes on the other side. The roof is a delightful yellow with four shape holes on one side and four on the other side.The wooden blocks/shapes to be posted through the barn are beautifully painted in bright colours.This barn offers hours of entertainment and learning. It's not just about shapes and their different lengths, but they get to learn about colour, and animals. This is a nice sensory toy too. Well-made, robust and an utter delight.

This is a great quality baby toy, which consists of a beautifully painted farmyard barn, made from solid chunky wood, with a removable roof and 12 solid chunky wooden shapes.The roof and walls of the barn have shaped holes in them, which correspond to one of the wooden shapes, for your child to push through into the barn.The roof comes off easily, so that you can then remove the shapes and play again.Each shape is different and is paint in a different colour, so you can also teach your child colours and counting.The paint is non toxic and durable, so the toy should last for years if looked after and kept clean. It is easy to wipe the toy clean with a damp cloth or wet wipes.

I love this shape sorted. Firstly because it’s wooden. Everything Seems to be plastic these days.It’s a little wooden play barn with wooden shapes that your child can sort through the shape holes.Really solid product and will last for a long time.Would make a wonderful gift
