Q3000ST Speaker Stands Black (Pair)

Very beautiful stands. Does the job for Q acoustics 3000 series bookshelf speakers.Wished if they would support other generic bookshelf speakers too.These are pricey but quality from Q acoustics are top notch.

Good isolation, my only complaint is that the spikes are hard to put in with your fingers. The trick is to screw them in from both sides, unscrew, or use some non-rusting greaser. There's nice acoustically absorbent fabric and it's one of the better looking speaker stands out there. The fit is perfect with the 3020 speakers. Highly recommended!

I have a bigger set of these for bigger speakers - only negative is that the speakers don't actually attach to the stand - they just rest on top (and make sure you get the right stands for the right speakers).....they are pretty sturdy, but we have a dog and having them actually attach (like the bigger speakers do on the bigger Q stands) would be preferred.

Stands are metal, with a nice quality matte/textured finish. There are velcro straps on the back of the column to guide the speaker wire. Spikes in the base contact through carpet very well, and there are rubber caps for the spikes to use on hardwood or non-carpeted areas. The stands do not physically attach to the speakers but have dimples in the top plate to accept the rubber feet on the 3000 series speakers, which does make the setup very stable. Happy with how these opened up my 3020 speakers by getting them in the proper position in the room.

Very good build quality on these stands. The finish is well done and they are packed in a way that protects them very well. I really like the channel built in to the upright portion with velcro straps to hide speaker wire. Assembly was a breeze.The stand came with 2 metal plates, one for use with the 3010i and one for use with the 3020i. I have the 3010i but it really doesn't sit great on either plate. There are indentations on the plate that indicates where the rubber feet of the speaker should rest but the feet on my speaker don't line up with those indentations at all. The stand holds the speaker but not in a very stable way at all. One whap from my dogs tail would spell disaster for my speaker. I'm going to order some velcro to attach the speaker to the plate but shouldn't have to at this price point.

Very disappointing experience ordering these. The stands look OK, and I'm sure they will do the job - eventually - but there appear to be quality-control issues with this item, which is disappointing given the reputation Q Acoustics have for their speakers. Assembly should be quite straightforward, but not in this case, as threads on one stand leg arrived stripped, making it impossible to attach the speaker rest or base plate. Pretty shoddy given the $140 price tag and very frustrating. Even more disappointing though was the "we're sorry you feel that way" customer service and the flat-out refusal to expedite a replacement. As it was, the original product ordered on July 28 on "two-day" shipping arrived five days later. Now the grindingly slow returns shipping process and the wait for a replacement mean that order to fulfillment will be at least two weeks, not days...

(Ditto for the 310) Bought a pair of these for the height, not the fit for the 320i speakers. Easy fix, just Velcro the speakers to the stands. Otherwise, superb quality.
