Honey-Can-Do SHO-01599 Bamboo 3-Tier Shoe Shelf

The first one I ordered was slightly damaged with the top layers of bamboo coming apart. So glad I ordered a replacement. The new one was in great condition. Easy to put together, and plenty of space on each rack for 3 pairs of shoes. And dare I say, every time I glance at it by my entryway, I can't help but think it's just a really beautiful piece. Highly recommend. Worth the price, especially if your shoe rack is going to be in a spot that's often in your field of vision at home and not tucked away.

Looks great. A little pricier than the other bamboo shoe racks out there, but worth it for the quality. The design is great, very solid, and it even has nice hardware. It’s stackable, which I didn’t realize when I got it, so will probably order another one soon.

Lightweight, strong wood. Went together well. Allen wrench included…no tools required.

Nice, sturdy shoe rack. This is my second one. I love that they are stackable. I needed more storage. I was pleased to see that it stays strong and sturdy even when stacked as a double rack. It holds men's and women's shoes with seeming cramped. The bamboo is very attractive.

First, yes this is made from bamboo but it is not very strong. Unlike Bamboo flooring this is not that strong (but its not suppose to be).Instructions are missing some pieces like which direction to point the dongles to stack multiple of these together.The dongle for stacking is GLUED IN which is nutz because what if you do not want to stack. It looks awful with this sticking at the top and strange if it is standing on it.If you have it on a non-carpet floor it will slide all over the place. Use a anti slide rubber sticky on it (solves the problem).Honestly, I love the rack! It looks nice and does the job. Just be aware of the things I pointed out and you will not have any issues.

I really needed a shoe rack that looked nice in a large walk in closet, and yet still managed to hold a good amount of shoes. And more importantly managed to house high heels or high wedges, and thankfully this worked out nicely!The packaging itself was nothing to write home about, and the directions were laughable with pictures versus words. Happily it wasn't hard to deduce what goes where, as there are only a few parts. It literally comes with the two sides, the three boards where the shoes lay on, and twelve screws with an alan wrench. That's it. The biggest difficulty I had was in putting on the first slat, and managing to hold it in place while I screwed it on, but once that was done it was a breeze, and I had this put together in minutes. And that's coming from a very tiny pregnant female, so it's definitely not hard to put this together. I would say to be careful when tightening the screws, because if my husband did this, he would have definitely either stripped the screw or more than likely broke the wood.When it was fully done I easily picked it up as it's extremely light, put it where it needed to go, and started stacking up my shoes. With having such tiny feet, size 5 in women, I was able to fit a lot more shoes on the rack than most people as I had enough room at the top of the rack to lay flip flops sideways. As for heels, I have anywhere from three inch heels to five inch heels, and they did fit in the second and third shelves. But I did put all my shoes in there backwards. Don't know if that would help anything as they should all have the same height level, but I did manage to fit high wedges in the bottom shelves with no issues. It might be a little difficult to pull one out as I do have to list it a little sideways to get it out, but it works! My heels do also managed to get a little wedged into the middle of the slates, but it's not a big issue as I'm careful, and I have my less expensive shoes on this anyway. Otherwise this fits a lot of shoes for me, and I've had no issues of it falling down or feeling unstable. Great buy, and I'm definitely getting a matching one for my husbands shoes.

The shoe rack was easy for my husband to assemble. It is very sturdy and looks fine in the bottom of our closet. It holds multiple pairs of my husband's shoes. The item is a good buy!

The holes all match up easily for assembly and the little tool that comes with it works perfectly. The shoe rack itself is perfect for my needs. I'm not sure how sturdy it would be as bamboo is softer. I personally love it for my 1bdrm home. Great purchase

Bamboo 3-Tier Shoe Shelf. Sturdy and attractive. Bamboo is durable and flexible. I had no problem assembling it by myself. The easiest way is to only tighten the screws halfway as you attach all the shelves. Then, once it's all attached, tighten the screws gradually with the included Allen key. That way, you know when to stop before over tightening it and cracking the bamboo. The drilled holes are mostly well done. Only one is not totally straight.The are small dowels attached to the bottom of each side panel, and two corresponding drilled holes on top. So, the unit is stackable should you buy another 3-Tier Shoe Shelf. I stuck Self-Adhesive Clear Protectors on the end of the rough cut dowels to save my hardwood floor from scratches. They're the same silicon half-spheres that are used on the corners of cupboard doors.Addendum: I lined each shelf with Con-Tact Brand Embossed Non-Adhesive Shelf Liner, 12-Inch by 5-Feet, Clear Herringbone. Perfect for those messy snow and slush days.Pretty good quality for the price. It could have used more sanding and another coat of varnish, but it's okay the way it is. I'm quite pleased with the Bamboo 3-Tier Shoe Shelf.

Pros: Overall a very functional and decent shoe rack. Limited time sale at 1/5 of original price.Cons: Dowel holes not the same depth, 1 of 4 holes at the bottom is shallower resulting to uneven levels to the floor.

Item arrived in good time. There was a crack in one of the pieces when arrived and also uneven/rough areas.One piece had marker on it and has been stained over but can still see through.Reading the reviews I thought it would have been of a better quality.We cannot return as it is not worth paying the shipping back. Steer clear.
