The frame itself is very sturdy and and absolutey gorgeous, however it is a bit smaller than the advertised 8x10 - probably closer to 7.5x9.5 opening. I unfortunately had to return it because I really needed a true size. For this reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5.

The frame is beautiful but you will need to trim your 8x10 photo to fit it into this frame. Make sure whatever picture you want in this has a background you don’t mind cropping.

Beautiful frame, however it was damaged as shown upon removing from the box. Of note, the box was not damaged. Easy enough fix with super glue, but regardless, damaged.Heavier than I thought. I wouldn’t purchase another.

My daughter had pictures of us taken for a Christmas present: one of me and her dad together; one of her, her dad, and me; one of her girl and her together; and one of all five of us together. I have a dark baby grand piano with three gorgeous golden and crystal Candelabras, and just the perfect place to put the set. I bought this frame in all sizes, and would have sent it back if it didn't work. My daughter gasped when she walked into the library and saw how lovely it looks. I was really expecting to pay a lot more for nice looking, elegant frames, but these inexpensive ones did a great job! My daughter wants the same set up for her pictures, but hasn't bought the frames yet.

This frame is not the size listed in the product title or description. It is NOT 5x7. If you were hoping to actually put a 5x7 photo in this "5x7" frame, you are out of luck. The frame is cute, sturdy, easy to use, but it's actually 4.75"x6.75".

Cute frame but sloppy glue job. I had to glue back to frame.
