It works but does not last as long as the original battery even though this one has more mAH than the original. Also, has the issue of battery status going from 4 bars to 2 bars to warning that battery is running out (seems to be common issue for non-oem batteries) in 5 mins when the battery is almost out of juice.

I'm pretty pleased with my purchase of this set. Since there are options on this product page I'll clarify: I ordered the two batteries with travel charger that came with some other extra items. I bought this set to replace an original battery and to augment my power needs for a Sony Action Cam HDR-AS100V and so far everything works flawlessly.Since my Sony action cam doesn't have a battery charger (you have to use the camera to charge the battery) the charger in this kit is a nice addition to my setup. The two batteries appear to work without issue and hold a good charge.Battery test: I did perform a battery test with the Vivitar battery to get a feel for how long they would last. After a full charge I placed the battery in the camera, turned ON wifi, turned ON GPS, put it to interval shot every 2 seconds and hit the go button. The battery lasted roughly 2hr 51mins and capture 5099 images. This is longer than the other generic battery that I have (which took 4810 images) and very comparable to the original Sony battery that came with the camera. The original Sony battery captured 5180 images in a similar test before the camera died.Since the battery appears to operate identically to the OEM one I consider this a great buy and a worth alternative to the original.

Works pretty good both batteries and charger. The charger light doesn't turn green but it does charge the batteries though.

This was an excellent purchase. I wanted a Vivitar charger because I had one for my last camera, but was very happy to get the batteries and other accessories along with my charger. It is a very good value. Being new, I have only charged the batteries I got with the charger and the extra one that I have, but they charged well, as I anticipated. I felt the price was more than very good for the products I received.

The Sony battery that came with my camcorder must be charged through the camcorder itself. The plugged-in charger is a must for those who travel. To get a plugged-in charger plus two Vivitar batteries plus a package of cleaning material all in a well-package box, timely delivered, at a reasonable price, is beyond my expectations. Wish all sellers are like this one. Buy from this seller. You cannot go wrong.

Great value for making sure you always have backup batteries on hand! I love that it came with a car charger as well! We chase orca's from land and had been looking for a portable power source to go along with our new camera and this does the job. I do wish it was a more rapid charger in the car but it seems to be about average for like items.

Great item, batteries work just as well, if not better, than the Sony one that came with my camera. The charger is far more convenient (and charges fast) than Sony's nonsense of charging the battery via the camera connected to a computer. Thanks for offering a great product at a much better price. Will probably buy another set just to have a spare and to be able to charge 2 batteries at the same time.

This is a well rounded package for the camera user. I contains 2 quality batteries with a flexible charger as well as cleaning supplies. Would recommend this package to any user. I have also bought this combo for several other cameras (Canons). That is why I did not hesitate on purchasing for my wife's new camera.
