If you are on the fence to purchase this, you need to do it. It is sooooo much better than the original one or a milk crate. It is expensive, but very sturdy and the 13X16 fits perfectly in my Old Town 120 PDL. I have already added to it with other yak attack items.

I'm too OCD to use a milk crate. This thing looks great, easy to assemble and great features. Love it on my Hobie PA 14

Its definitely overpriced. You can make your own pretty easily for cheaper. And well seeing as you have to assemble the thing yourself, that might be a better option. But it is sturdy, made out of good materials in America. It holds my fishing rods very well and it sits super secure in my kayak, don't gotta worry about losing it if I flip. Also it keeps my stuff dry so it's better than a milk crate. But it's definitely not waterproof, so you may want to keep your electronics in a dry bag inside of it.

Would highly recommend any of the yak attack products. I had an issue with assembly, but the yak attack customer service helped me out. Made in the USA with customer service in the USA. Nuff said.
