Tamiya Alligator Clips Paint Stand (4) TAM74528

I was looking for replacement clips for my Tamiya Spray Work Painting Stand and realized they are no longer made. I found these clips and they work great. I can now paint a lot more small pieces securely.

I ordered the 2 turntable spray-work painting stand set from Tamiya -- one with holes for sticks and clips for holding parts, and a second with spring-loaded bars particularly effective for holding car model bodies for painting.As usual for anything with the Tamiya label, they are well-designed and -executed and work flawlessly.I also ordered an additional set of 4 Tamiya Alligator Clips (TAM74528) which are specifically designed to fit into the snap-in slots in the larger turntable. They fit the larger stand perfectly and expand its ability to hold tiny or uniquely-shaped parts for painting, or even as third-hands for tricky assemply or just keeping tiny parts from being eaten by the carpet-monster. Extremely handy.More versatility = more value.

It is a well crafted alligator clip. Unlike most other alligator clips, the sharp edges of the teeth are smoothed out to reduce damage on the plastic model while using it.

I like the way it holds parts and models trees for painting. Use for painting plastic model parts.

These clips work very well used with the Tamiya paint stand. Useful in painting miniatures and other models.They are well made and of good quality.

I bought these intending to use them when prototyping electronics (just pinning two things together), but they've actually turned out to be the best bag-clips I've ever used (just grabbed for the nearest usable thing one day). They're also fun to store by clipping them into a chain (each one "biting" another's loop).The springs are reasonably strong, and the head is contoured such that it's comfortable to squeeze it.

Diese Krokodilklemmen sind eine sehr nützliche Ergänzung zur lackierhilfe. Auch wenn es nicht ums lackieren geht sondern "mal eben kurz halten"

Great clips, the spring got a firm grip, better than the ones that comes with the tamiya stand. I put masking tape to make sure not to damage 1/48 small parts. They do have gator teeth on them.
