LCD Phone with Talking Caller ID

I had purchased 2 similar phones for my home office, but the speakerphone did not work well (although they looked beautiful). This one works VERY well and the speakerphone is perfect on both ends! For the price, you just can;t go wrong on this phone. The only bummer is that it takes batteries instead of working off the phone line power, but so far the batteries are holding strong, so I see no downside to it.

This phone is a piece of junk. from the moment it arrived it had a stand that didn't work. volume that is just too low to hear on speaker and a cloudy hard to see screen.If I wasn't so lazy and it wasn't so cheap I would have returned it. This phone is a piece of plastic with fancy lights.

I bought this phone about 8 years ago from the drug store for $20. I love the fact that the phone speaks the phone number of the caller. So if I am in the next room and hear the number I can decide whether to answer the phone or finish what I am doing . Pros: Talking caller id, calculator , calender ,the phone looks nice, large numbers on the phone,easy to scroll through the numbers of the previous callers,privacy setting so when someone picks up another phone in the house they can't hear your conversation , you can set it to repeat the number of the caller three times.Cons The base of the phone isn't stable enough, it can fall over when you are using it and break .like mine did. The coil cord on mine can't be removed ,it's made into the handset. .Mine is now tangled and makes it difficult to answer the phone without having to manually stretch out the cord first. I don't think the speaker phone is loud enough. The light at the bottom is a nice look but it kind of useless. In the dark the light isn't bright enough to help you see the screen. After a while some of the numbers on the the screen are difficult to read, but most LCD products are like that.I would recommend the phone if you pay $20 or less for it . If the phone was more durable ( ability to replace cord and didn't crack easily ) it would be a great phone.

I had a phone like this but it was dropped and the receiver broke. I like this phone so much that I taped it together until I could find another one . Went to lots of stores looking for one but to no avail.Searched for it on Amazon and found it whoo hoo. I love that fact that it tells the phone # that's calling so I can decide if I want to answer it or not. Edw, IL

I ordered 3 of these phones early Dec 2009. The phones were shipped by goHastings. I received the order in couple weeks, but what I received was 3 Corded Handheld Mini Flip Phone from Innovage. I wrote couple mails to goHastings support but heard nothing. I finally called the support and I was informed that they don't carry the product anymore and the system automatically picked the closest product! The finally sent me a return lable that I'm going to use to return the incorrect products that were shipped. This is what their mail said:"We apologize for the incorrect item you received. There was a data error between our system and Amazon's. The product should not have been listed as such and is currently being corrected"Unnecessary trouble for me!!

nice phone very stylish but volume too low when it talks also cannot hear on it and when you adjust volume it stays the same

Bought this phone for my mom that's visually impaired and needed a phone that calls out the phone number that is calling. She loves it!

It didn't last a year. The hand held portion of it failed. fortunately I was able to use the speaker phone til I got a new phone.

absolute piece of junk. arrived damaged, no instructions, dirty, bad condition and doesn't work properly. My 15 year old one is in much better condition.
