Product seems to be of high quality material in comparison to original equipment. Original equipment comes with paper label, this valve has the settings silk screened into the cover. Unit came with gasket and O ring. Also spare parts for maintenance. This company pays real attention to detail.

I purchased this the end of last year and installed it the end of April this year. After 4 months, the plastic is cracking everywhere; around the screws (inside & out), around the handle and some areas inside the chamber; even the top section where the settings read has discolored. It looks 20 years old instead of a few months. Worst of all the handle was so loose that you couldn't adjust it and it leaked, my pool guy said it needed to be replaced because it was literally crumbling away. Do not recommend - stick with the name brand on this one.

Make sure setting on one you remove match the one you are installing.

Got the product March 31st and it broke August 6th. I thought i was saving money not going with a Hayward product but not the case. Ended up going to Leslie's to buy the valve at twice the price. I don't mind buying generic if it will save me money and it will work. But in this case not worth it from this seller. I read the reviews and wasn't deterred. But for the first time i actually bought a warranty. Glad I did. I just filed a claim.

Have a Hayward valve so wasn’t sure it would work but both had 10 bolt hole so I bought it and it worked perfect

Don't buy made cheap

The part was easy to install, but only worked for two months before it started leaking. Took it apart replace gasket, and it is still leaking. Would definitely not recommend trying to go this cheaper route.
