Odd diamond shape, NOT squares. Diamonds are not gardeners' best friends. Refund please
First picture is the product I received from this company. Odd diamond shapes, not it does not come down fully to the bottom of the fence. It looks terrible despite long hours of attempting to figure out a way to place it on the fence. Second picture is of another product with squares. Note how eventually it lines up and comes down to meet the bottom of the fence. If you think diamond shapes vice the advertised square shapes dont make a difference for your use then go for this cheap product. Not as advertised, not easy to work with and a let down. Some would love to receive diamonds in lieu of the described item, however diamonds are not a gardener 's best friend. Decided to replace my old trellis netting, 5th year I have placed trellis netting over my wood fence to allow Hyacinth and bean vines to grow. Something I find enjoyable each spring, this purchase made it a huge headache.I kept laying out the netting on the ground in an attempt to find the corners. When placed over the 6ft fence posts, a 5ft length trellis netting easily rests just above the ground. Some additional securing is needed around direction changes in the fence but this mess required a spool of line and hours of adjustment. They are diamond shapes no uniformity or attention to detail would allow the netting to rest evenly along the fence. I know eventually the Hyacinth vine and beans will cover the ugly mess but until then I am left with an eyesore.Requesting a refund and perhaps some asprin for the extra headache.Had they informed customers of the diamond shape and I knowingly purchased it tben I would have been disappointed but ok with the cheap quality.I went and pushed the was this helpful button on all the reviewers that took the time to mention their struggle to figure out the odd diamond pattern was the cause of the headaches. My way of thanking them for taking the time to include it in their review.Buyer be aware... If you have a surplus of time, some arthritis medication and only intend on growing thin vines like Cardinal flowers than go for it, otherwise stay clear of this misleading headache.

Still strong after 2 years in the TX sun! Kept deer from reaching thru my fence and munching on the garden.
I bought this to use as a trellis for vegetables growing along my iron fence. The six foot length was easy to hook over the tops of the fence and I secured it on the bottom with zip ties. The black mesh is almost invisible from a distance and has held up well over the past two years out in the TX sun. However, the mesh is small, maybe 1 1/2" squares, so it's hard to reach thru to harvest. Also the plastic is thin (really strong) but things tend to get tangled in it and weed wacking along the bottom of the fence is a challenge. Anyway, after 2 years, I decided to take it down, as I wasn't really growing many vines in the area...BUT within 2 days I had deer sticking their heads thru the iron fence and eating up all the green beans they could reach!! SO... I put the trellis back up and am ordering more to protect my flower beds. Turns out the deer don't like the feel of the plastic on their faces, so it's been keeping them away. Now I know why my flower beds were failing to thrive all this time.

Review after the first season of use
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this trellis netting last spring and waited to review it until I used it the entire growing season. I use this netting for growing cucumber vines. In prior years I used soft poultry fencing, which had a thicker grid, slightly larger openings, and was silver in color. In this review I will compare these two options.I am attaching a photo which shows the netting on my hand so you can see the relative size of the netting grid as well as mounted on a trellis. The Ross trellis netting was fairly easy to work with, it was easy to mount, and survived the first growing season well, and I will be able to re-use it next year. I liked the black color which makes it almost invisible. On the negative side the combination of small holes and very thin netting made it cut into cucumber flesh and required constant vigilance from me to make sure that no cucumber grew big resting within one of the openings. The slightly larger opening and thickness of the fencing in poultry fencing worked much better and did not require as much attention from me.This trellis worked well enough to keep, but when time comes to replace this trellis netting I will go back to the poultry fencing for the cucumber vines.Ali Julia review

Garbage Product
First of all this is a diamond shaped trellis. No big deal you think. Well an hour into putting up a 4’ section I’m thinking diamonds are nobody’s best friend. When I finally unravel it and think I have a corner and then cut it, the netting un-knots. It’s like trying to find the side of a mop with nothing, but loose and unraveling edges. I finally grabbed help and it took two of us at least 2 hours to hang this crap. It looks horrible, like I’m holding a giant spider web convention in my garden. Let me just mention that I’m handy. I’ve built miles of fence, done extensive remodels on our homes, built furniture. I’m a competent weekend warrior, but this product is garbage.

Held up nicely
When I opened this I thought there was no way it would hold up to green beans. I even had other avid gardeners tell me it would not work. But it did! It took a ton of weight and never broke in any place. I had to snip every few strings to get it over my fence posts, but this did not hinder it's performance at all.

Not pleased. The material is high quality
The package shows the mesh as squares, relative to the edges, The product is 45 degrees relative to edges, This makes it extremely difficult to install, you really need 2 people to do so, or have space to lay the thing out on ground while you staple it to the supports, which are necessary to keep its shape. Not pleased. The material is high quality, but that does not help much. Am discarding the unused part.

Great trellis
Great product. Used it to grow some flowering vines, (moon flowers, morning glory, passionflower). Set it up right before a storm. Fastened with zip ties to the fence and stakes in the ground. High winds didnt tear it and it stayed in place. Was also able to cut to size I needed and didnt compromise its integrity.

Solid and well made
The mesh is solid and the grid is consistent. There's extra at the top and bottom. I was afraid black would look bad but it actually blends in more than any other colour I've used before!

Recommend
Sturdy, used for peas. They grab on easily and climb well. I used 3 posts along to create a fence and it has held up so far this season. I’ll probably get a few more years out of it.

Not as described in packaging. Very disappointed.
I ordered 3 packages of this product to find out its not as described on the packaging. The trellis netting is cut diagonally which leaves no straight edge on either the sides or the ends. Because of this this netting can not be pulled tight to support a canopy from over head. Very disappointed in this product as it is literally useless to me. If it was my mistake and didn't not read or pay attention to the packaging then I would consider myself at fault, but that's not the case. The packaging clearly shows trellis netting cut in a rectangular shape with openings in the netting running vertical/horizontal not in a diamond pattern with no straight edges.

Extremely easy to install.
This product has 1 3/4" squares (4.5 cm). This is the best netting we have had. It did not tangle. Liked it so much bought another one.

like soccer net hole size
Its quite large.......like soccer net hole size. I did put my peas on it this year and it worked just fine. I took the net down after the season so the big test till be how it holds out for a second year.
