I suffer with extremely dry skin and psoriasis so most products that touch my skin cause irritation. I am very happy with this moisturizing shampoo! My dermatologist has me using prescription shampoo but it seems to leave my hair dry. I tolerate the dry hair because irritated skin is painful. After learning about this shampoo I bought it and did a spot test that went great! This shampoo is non-irritating to my scalp while infusing my hair with moisture! The best part about this shampoo is how it suds up ! Once my hair is all sudsy I use my fingers to comb through any tangles or knots in my hair! The product has a light scent that adds to the experience! Anyone who struggles with skin issues should give this product a try, it’s wonderful.

I'm rating the product line as a whole -- four stars. I've been using the line for about two months. I didn't want to rate it right away because products will work for about two weeks, and then they stop working. In any case, the shampoo and scalp lotion are the winners in this product line. I will be repurchasing both when I run out. I will probably end up repurchasing the conditioner as well, but I wasn't impressed with it at all.The shampoo: highly concentrated, so you don't have to use a lot of it, and it doesn't strip your hair. It has a nice citrus type of scent -- clean. With other shampoos I usually experience an itchy or dry scalp a few hours after I shampoo. With this shampoo, my scalp feels normal.The moisturizing scalp lotion: I use this on wash days and in between when I have a little bit of discomfort, a sore spot or itch on my scalp -- same scent. I apply it in the shower before I apply my styling products.The conditioner: There is not enough conditioner for people with coarse hair, and this line was created with African American people with scalp problems in mind; though, fine-haired people can use the line. Also, the conditioner is on the thin side. I was really surprised and disappointed. I think that it needs to be thicker with more moisturizing alcohols, and more! I need a 16 to 32 oz bottle. This will be the first product that I will need to replenish. When I apply it, it almost seems like it's not doing anything. In fact, it seems like it makes my hair tangle a bit. Oh yeah, this is not a detangling conditioner at all -- it's all about massaging some into your scalp -- but make sure you rinse it off before applying the lotion. I keep it on my hair for three minutes, add water, and then that kind of activates it, but not by much.I suggest buying all three products because they do work synergistically. But the conditioner is just not impressive.

I was skeptical at a shampoo that actually does what it says, but this one gets 5 stars! My scalp was really tender and hurt after using normal shampoo and I had dandruff. I used this shampoo and immediately noticed and felt a difference. I’m very impressed and will be buying this again. Worth the money! Improved my dandruff too, so it is barely there anymore. I paired this with conditioner and noticed my hair is softer and easier to brush/comb. I have thick wavy hair and it seems to manage my waves nicely.

First, when I opened the cap, nothing would come out of it. As I fiddled with it in shower, the cap came apart. I also noticed how fast it suds up, and of course, this would explain why my hair was extremely fluffy and dry. I have scalp psoriasis and need a shampoo that doesn't dry my scalp. This may be a great shampoo for oily hair.

This product is wonderful. The itchiness and dryness resolved quickly and didn’t return for almost week. The cost is comparable to others special shampoo the same size.

I saw rave reviews about this product which led to my purchasing it, but unfortunately, my experience was different from those who left excellent feedback. First of all, I have fine, thick hair. Somehow I have a dry scalp AND am prone to oily roots. Finding the perfect shampoo is tricky because moisturizing shampoo often is too heavy and makes me oily the next day (even though my scalp loves it), and clarifying shampoo strips my hair and makes my scalp super flakey and dry. I thought this would work out, but it left a sticky texture on my hair the next day after washing. Like if you accidentally leave the shampoo in your hair (not the case here). It seemed to tame the flakiness a little but not worth what it makes your actual hair feel like. Oily roots the next day after washing is definitely not what I need as I overwash as it is. The texture of this shampoo is super concentrated...if you've ever used Olaplex, it's similar to that. This shampoo does not lather well, either. After the first few times using it and getting bad results, I tried many ways of working around it. I diluted a little, used less than I should, used a scalp scrubber with it, and adjusted how I used the conditioner as well. Nothing works. The smell on this is lemony/chemically, like some sort of cleaner- not a fan. I'm returning this and the conditioner and keeping the lotion, as that works nicely, in my opinion. Overall, you probably need some DRY DRY hair and roots for this shampoo and conditioner.

I’m writing this review because I am grateful for this product. I’ve had seborrheic dermatitis for decades and this is the most helpful product I’ve used. I have 4a and 4b hair that is course and very thick. It takes hours to wash, detangle and style and having terrible seborrheic dermatitis makes I for more frequent wash days, which is exhausting. This product calms my scalp issues and I can go a full 7 days between washes. I use a moisturizing shampoo first, then follow up with this product. It lathers well, has a pleasant, soft scent and is a pleasure to use.
