I got this for my false lashes. The comb part helps when I'm cleaning them. The scary other end, I CAREFULLY press under my lashes to kind of attach them in a way to my false lashes when I have wet mascara on.

i didnt get this to aid me in perming my lashes, as the title of the product claims it is for but i did get it to rake out my lashes every now and again. when i install lash extensions i like to comb them out real good cause the glue can get all clumpy. this stainless steel heavy duty lash rake is great. the only skeptical side is the 3 inch long shank at the end of it that i try to avoid putting anywhere near my eyeball.

I've never permed my, or anyone else's, lashes, but I ordered this Amber Lash Eyelash Lift Perm Tool to help me when putting on mascara. My sight is not good, so I always end up with clumps and unevenness.This tool helps to separate any clumps and removes excess mascara. I guess it does also help me lift my lashes while my mascara is drying. Of course, I have to use it with a 20x mirror, so that I can see well enough not to poke it in my eye. Both ends are very useful, but can also be quite dangerous to your eyes.This is a very handy tool, whether you're using it for perming lashes, or just tidying up and lifting lashes after applying mascara. It is also helpful when doing nail art. I like to use glitter, so the rake end helps to push chunky glitter pieces around, while the pointy end, with a bit of gel polish, will pick up single pieces to place them in precise areas.I'm sure the uses are endless for this little tool! It really helps me clean up my messy mascara, and helps to get my nail art just right. It's very well made and sturdy, so I see it lasting a very long time. It works wonderfully for my uses, and I would absolutely recommend it!

This tool appears to be sturdy. The pointed end is well sealed. However, the comb end has a gap at the point of insertion. This will prevent proper sterilization or even disinfection technique for professional use.

I wish I had known about this years ago. I have carried a sewing needle in my makeup bag for years to separate my lashes which always freaked people out as it appeared that I was about to poke myself. while I have been fortunate enough to avoid calamity in the last 20 years, I knew my days were numbered. Luckily I found this little baby rake and eye lash separator to help me out. It works PERFECTLY. I have naturally long but light lashes so I do like to put a few coats of mascara on and sometimes you end up with a clump that keeps transferring back and forth between lashes. The little rake is PERFECT for the lash line declumping when you don't want the poker thing that close to jabbing distance. I'll probably still do it.Perfect little tool for under 8 bucks. Genius invention and I HATE that I grew up in the 80s having to steal mom's darning needles instead of having this sucker handy. The Baby rake and poker get Daisy's 5 star approval. And happy, intact eyeballs.
