This book is perfect for teaching a unit on writ8ng friendly lettters.

I did a lesson on letter writing and used this book as a read aloud. The children really enjoyed the book. I felt as if it were a perfect choice for a read aloud for the lesson. If you are looking for a way to teach letter writing to children, this is a great book! I really enjoyed reading it : )

I was so happy receiving this book. It is a perfect way to introduce, teach and review letter writing.I can't wait to use this in the classroom and share with other teachers. What a great text! Nancy Loewen's other books look worthwhile as well. I guess I'll have to do some more purchasing!

This is made as a helping guide and is not a book the students can read for entertainment.

Wonderful way to teach kids about letter writing. Loved that they call it a toolbox.

Once again Nancy Loewen's "tools" for writing book did not disappoint. Great step by step directions (tools) to help children learn to write friendly and business letters. I have used her "tools" for non-fiction and poetry.

Excellent for KS1 writing.

interesting resources for teaching Letter writing to KS1

This is a great book, and with me being a teacher it really created a fun way for me to teach the students and for the students to learn how to create letters. The delivery of this book was prompt as it arrived 21 days before I was expecting it. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, but would not recommend the book to students lower than grade 2 or 3.

This book was a suggested purchase when buying The Jolly Postman books. Since the Jolly Postman books were geared for young children, I made the assumption that Sincerely Yours would be appropriate for the same age group. Unfortunately, it is geared for a child at least 4 years older than the Jolly Postman Books. Sincerely Yours was well written and a good teaching tool but in my case will not be useful for another 4 years.
