Small and Fast
More than I expected. I has expansion space for (2) two ssd drives. You can store a lot of stuff with that.

No good for video editing with Adobe Premiere CS6.
August 30, 2022: I purchased this mini-pc on April 11, 2022 as an alternative to a full desktop PC for minor video editing with Adobe Premiere CS6. Big mistake! Today (August 30, 2022) during my first attempt at editing depositions and encoding them for a PowerPoint presentation, when exporting/encoding the video, Premiere kept throwing error codes and the encoding would stop midway thru. Eventually, the PC completely crashed (black screens on all three monitors) and became unresponsive, with the fans continuing to blow and blow loudly. I turned off the PC and unplugged it. Plugged it back in and attempted to boot. Nothing! Powered up, but only black screens. Unplugged it again and held the power button down to make sure all power was discharged. Plugged it in and attempted to boot. Same thing! Finally, I unplugged it and waited for a few minutes and plugged it in again. It finally booted, and I was able to work (Outlook, Word, Excel), but not edit videos in Adobe Premiere CS6. I assume the CPU over heated while encoding video, and that is why it would not boot. I am very disappointed. The sole purpose for purchasing this thing was to be able to to do some minor editing of depositions in my law office. No such luck!August 31, 2022: Arrived at the office this morning. This thing will not boot. ZERO STARS. DO NOT PURCHASE. IT IS A LEMON.

Compact and powerful
It can easily handle day to day tasks such as emails and web browsing but it is somewhat limited in its gaming capabilities. Smaller indie games will be no problem but it will slow down with more modern graphically intense games. If your looking for an above average starter PC this is a great choice.

You won't get support nor bios updates
I run Linux on my HX90. It runs great. Lots of performance for the money. But...1. Minisforum's support says they don't support these boxes that are sold by resellers like "COOFUN." That's a shock for many customers. They show up at Minisforum's support forum and are told to contact whomever they bought the machine from (for any help). Apparently the bulk sales to resellers includes selling the support responsibility. That should be made abundantly clear in the advertising.2. Even if you buy from Minisforum, you're not going to get much support. The most shocking part to me was that they don't do much with the bios. You spend a lot of money on newer technology (latest cpu, motherboard, etc.) and could need a bios update. But, Minisforum doesn't want to do much with the bios. It's like pulling teeth with them. For example, AMD has released at least two significant AGESA firmware fixes in the past year. Minisforum has blatantly ignored users asking for that. You can't even find out if you have the latest bios. They won't publish that info. One person asked for just their current bios so they could reinstall it (something you can easily do with other brands without asking anyone's permission). They were flatly/rudely told no.Summary: Nice machine but a big risk of zero support, and being rendered buggy as bios updates never happen. I definitely urge people to look into the support forum before buying. There are some real problems (like TPM-related video stutter in Win 11 which people could not get any help from Minisforum for.).UPDATE: Nov. 3, 2022. I've changed this from 2- to 3-star. (Maybe it deserves 4.). A bios update has been provided (without explanation) after months of being offended that customers wanted it. That's good news, perhaps a sign something has changed. However, other AMD-based models are similarly delinquent in AGESA firmware bug fixes. It remains a concern for me whether Minisforum is proactive in providing bios updates, or grudgingly gives them after enough customers complain. (Most users aren't going to follow AMD's firmware updates. They expect the computer maker to do that, and release updates as they occur. The user just checks in occasionally to see if there's an update. The way Minisforum works, you have to tell them (a million times) that significant bugs have been fixed. They don't want to hear it. So, it's not a fun process. I'm not sure that internal culture has changed.).Another problem with Minisforum's bios handling: they don't put anything on the support/download page where you'd expect to find it easily. You have to create an account and post a forum question asking what the latest version is. If/when they do provide an update, they post it to the forum. People then find the wrong bios, or don't know there's an update (which I think is Minisforum's goal. They don't want people to update.). As I said: people should investigate the support forum and be informed before they buy. Many people would have never imagined the support to be as bad as it is. If it weren't for the support problem, I'd give 5 stars.

HX90 AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX
Since all the reviews seem to be of a different model and not the HX90 AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, I decided to do a review. I am a long time MAC user and I have a loaded M1 Mac mini. I have purchased other windows mini PC's but was deterred by the loud fan noise which I find very I annoying.Since purchasing the HX90 AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX I have upgraded it to 64GB memory a NVME 2 two terabyte drive and a 1 TB SATA drive. This is so QUIET!!! Everything I have thrown at this little PC it can handle..and yes even some pretty intense games. Am I impressed? YES!!!The only draw back is I wish it had more USB-C ports as there is only one on the front. Also they provide you with 2 sata connectors for mechanical drives but only one can be installed as the little cables they give should have been 2 different lengths because the cable will not reach to install a second drive. I do not usually write lengthy reviews but felt this one deserved it. ALSO...NOTE...This is the updated version and NOT the ones that had the liquid metal mess you see all over youtube. If you do your research..the newer ones have normal philips head screws on the bottom and NOT the TORX screws..That is a good indication you got the good one..

Bang for your Buck!
Got this when they had a coupon for 150 off. Its basically where your buying an expensive laptop top line but you don't get the keyboard or monitor (*cuz you already have those likely*). I needed a work station mini desktop that could put out some power multiple tabs not slow at all. Do not get a mini pc for gaming this is going to be for the person who wants to save space and does some photo editing, small business etc.
