I love this Oxyacetylene torch set! Great for brazing in HVAC and includes everything you need to get started. Get your tanks filled and you are ready to rock. It is pretty heavy duty and decent weight and well made. The value is fantastic compared to what the distributors sell it for. I recommend this kit for everyone from beginner to advanced installer or technician. It fits perfect in the van and full functional and ready to rock.

after only 20 minutes of cutting, shutting off the torch, and coming back from lunch, i go to fire up the torch again, and what do i find? The high pressure gauge on the regulator is broken, not showing any pressure from a nearly full bottle of oxygen. The flow gauge is working properly, and it is flowing gas. The regulator also now makes a disconcerting springy noise when the oxygen is opened. I already exchanged the gas bottles, so i probably am barred from returning this now. Better hope ESAB warranty gets back to me. not pleased at all.

If you've ever used an acetelyne torch this one is just like it, but smaller. It cuts stuff and welds stuff (for a few minutes). 4 stars because a torch kit should come with a wire/file tool for the cutter head, and because the goggles were just tossed loose in the box and scratched on delivery. I don't give a damn because cool guys don't wear googles (no, really I wear my welding helmet), but if you didn't have something else to wear and HAD to use the goggles it came with that would be mighty irritating. NOT the seller's fault. The whole thing was packaged and sealed in the Victor box new from the factory. I blame Victor for not even wrapping the goggles in paper while everything else was so shrink-wrapped it took almost 20 minutes to get it all unwrapped. The plastic tank carrier is also kinda meh, but just buy some sheet metal and tig rods and use the torch to make a better one.
