The device works as advertised. The sound is clear but not especially rich. For my needs the device works fine for Apple Music and other audio. The gradations of volume are a bit coarse, going from barely audible to too loud in just a few clicks. However, this is not a problem for me. I keep it plugged into my PC so there is no issue with power. Bluetooth connection was simple. Note:to start the device the user needs to press the on/off button and hold for 5 seconds. Size is good. Fits neatly under my monitor. Price was excellent and fell between the cheap, low-rated devices and the high end, more expensive speakers.

First things first, if you want a super loud speaker that can fill a room, look elsewhere. This thing will not compete with the likes of a JBL Flip 6/7, BUT, it's also 1/3rd the price.I got mine on sale for $30 and for that money, it's fantastic. Battery life is great and it shows battery status over Bluetooth. Sound quality is pretty solid, not amazing but absolutely passable for the money. Very easy to setup and use, USB-C charging is wonderful, I love the soft coating around the sides and the overall look of the speaker is very refined, great build quality especially considering the price.TLDR; if you want something loud with a lot of bass around this size, save your money and grab a Flip 6/7. If you just want a well built, decently loud and clear speaker with fantastic battery life and ease of use, this is for you. Unbeatable value!

Very good product for the money. The sound is excellent for the size and hold a charge. The only issue I have is the Soundwave app will not recognize this device. It paired easily and works well with streamed music of all styles

The sound quality is good for the price. I haven't tested it at full volume; I basically use it just for myself. The battery lasts a long time; I've used it for over 24 hours, and it's still working perfectly. I bought it thinking I'd be able to hear the stereo effect, but I think that was asking too much from such a small speaker. Perhaps pairing it with another speaker could achieve that effect. Overall, I'm satisfied with the build quality and sound, except for the fact that it's not stereo; that's why I only gave it 4 stars.

TL/DR: over 100 foot Bluetooth connectivity range, 24+ hour battery life, loud speakers with excellent bass. Best portable speaker you could find for quality and price.This speaker is awesome! First thing, Bluetooth connectivity range is insane compared to other Bluetooth speakers and headphones I’ve used. Line of sight is important and can stay connected over 100 feet away from the speaker, metal and concrete objects will interfere with that distance but I can regularly walk 50+ feet away and stay connected.Secondly, very easy to use and connect to. Battery life is excellent and exceeded my expectations, I would estimate being able to use it for about 24 hours before having to charge it, although you may get several more hours beyond that. You can charge it while using it as well.For its size I was pleasantly surprised at how loud the speaker can get and has good bass to it as well. This is the portable speaker to have because it works so well and has top of the line power in both battery life and sound level.

I use this for my desktop and quality is great for it's small size. I love Anker products, they have not failed me so far and I've had some of their products for almost ten years! It's very easy to use and can easily transition via Bluetooth from desktop to my phone or vice versa. I'll blast music on this while I'm cooking and it's fantastic, filing the whole house with music. You can also use the speaker while charging. I've never had to time how long I can use it for without charging but I think about 6-8 hours at least. I also don't generally use it constantly at maximum volume either so it's hard to tell how long a full charge really lasts. The texture on this is like that of silicone so there's enough grip where it shouldn't slip from your fingers while moving it around, which I really like. All in all, a good, small, portable speaker for my use.

Back in 2017, I had the original anker soundcore. I loved that thing so much- it finally died last year. So I took the plunge on the soundcore 2- wow! It's like the same speaker, but modernized. Waterproof, great battery life, a USB-C charging port (instead of micro-usb), GREAT clear sound. Loud. I just love it so much. My only caveat is it takes quite a while to charge- mine seems to often be stuck at 30% for a while. Not sure if this is a battery-reading defect, or just how it is. Regardless, it works fantastically, and once fully charged, it lasts for many, many hours. Definitely my favorite small speaker, and HIGHLY recommend. Such a value!
