We have tried the off brands and always ended up having to have the printer. It is worth the extra money.

UPDATE 11/19: After several hours of effort, we finally have our issue resolved through Brother. Apparently our printer was manufactured with an incorrect part, which was in conflict with the new toner design. Our printer was a couple of months out of the warranty period but Brother is honoring the warranty and sending us a refurbished printer. All in all, it took a really long time but we are happy with the result.ORIGINAL POST: We purchased TN-436C for our HL-L8360CDW printer. As you can see from the photos, the toner cartridge has been changed and the new design obstructs the drawer from closing (please look carefully at the photos and compare the cyan cartridge to the others before asking me if I've installed the cartridges correctly - that's not the problem). We also purchased a TN-433C in an effort to solve the problem and it has the same "third knob" on top. I have spent hours on chat and on hold through phone customer service. I was promised a call back from a supervisor, which did not come. Has anyone experienced this issue and/or can you please provide ideas for how to solve it?

As described- no issues.

The cartridge was stored in the office for about a year and then installed. Prints were good for a while then the blue/cyan must have leaked somehow and got all over 50 or so printed sheets. I pulled and reinstalled it. The printer went unused a few days and now the cyan is not leaking after printing a few very blue photos.
