BLACK+DECKER 4-Cycle Gas Powered 22-Inch Walk-Behind High-Wheeled String Trimmer with 173cc Kohler Engine, Black and Orange

This is probably the best purchase I've made in a very long time. I just love using it to trim high grass in my sloping ditch out front. I used to use a gas weed eater in combination with an old push mower. This powerhouse makes the job so much easier its unbelievable. What I hated and sweated doing before is now easy and actually fun to use. I bought the one with the 173cc Kohler motor and it has never bogged down mowing grass a foot tall. Cuts it easy and clean in one pass. I took it out of the box and put the oil in the crank case and gas in the tank and it started right up on first pull and has started with every pull since. I highly recommend it for tall grass for sure.

Pros:- Powerful and doesn’t struggle even in waist high grass- Strings only break if you hit trees or roots, and are say to replace (30 seconds) if you do- Starts on first pull- Fuel efficientCons:- Unwieldy on uneven ground and slopes (not recommended to go up/down hill)- Hard to push over roots and rocks- Heavy and push bar can cause blisters if used without glovesOverall, it does an amazing job. Parts of my land are difficult to cut with a traditional mower due to uneven landscape. I also can’t afford to cut all of my land regularly. This helps keep the wilds and judging neighbors at bay. Near perfect product. Very satisfied.

This thing does a pretty good job! It's a much more powerful than the average hand held weed eater and takes on some small, twiggy brush and very tall, thick grass. Its not as sturdy as I'd like it to be but being mindful that it isn't some sort pf tractor will keep it working for a long time I think. I'd buy it again. Fyi...if you're looking for this to cut evenly like a mower, it doesn't..this is for removing tall grass and brush, not mowing the lawn around your home

She is a beast! Make quick work of a large area. The strings are heavy duty and last longer than I expected. A bit difficult to handle on a slope but overall very happy with the purchase!

I cannot operate a regular weed eater, they’re too big for me. This push behind is so awesome! Starts on first pull went over huge rocks. The pic I included is just a small portion of my propert that I weed eated and it was way easy for me. And it doesn’t throw rocks like a regular one does which is nice. I could not be happier!

This is very easy to use. Starts on the first pull most of the time. Love it!

Cut Down everything in back lot with tall weeds and long grass. Easy to use and light weight for side of hill.

I like the power and the way it eats up ig weeds and grass.
