3 Stage Knife System to Sharpen Straight & Ceramic Kitchen Tools, Standard, Black

After years mine still has a place in the top drawer. I bought this one for my ceramic knives and it does work well. After 4 years it is "oxidizing" a little and has some built up gunk I'm not sure how to clean off safely, but it still sharpens my knives like a champ! Very easy to use especially with just experienced cooks that can't use a steel to sharpen the knives

After buying this I have sharped every knife I carry.The end product is a knife that will shave the hair of your arm.This thing take about 2 minutes to put a razor sharp edge to any knife.

Who knew that this little, inexpensive knife sharpener would work as amazing as it does! I'm not talking "ohh, it's okay for an under $20 sharpener" I'm talking... this thing works FANTASTIC! My husband and I were on the verge of returning our knife set to Costco just because they were dull after only a few years. Instead, I decided I was getting a knife sharpener and did research on every single one of them available on Amazon. I started at the top end models. I then went to order and I read all the reviews for this particular sharpener and decided "what the heck.. it's inexpensive enough that I can give it a try and if it doesn't work I'll just return it" Well, I've got news for you... I will never return this little sharpener!!! I have sharpened every single knife we own and I'm so happy about it. I wouldn't spend any additional $$ to do this on another better looking one, or higher priced-so-it-must-be-better one... no way... this one is perfect. I didn't give this four stars because, there's a lot of subjective opinion on how "sharp" this makes things. I would say this is roughly as good as a diamond dust sharpener (and I have used a diamond-dust sharpener -- they are roughly equivalent). The biggest difference between a diamond dust sharpener and this is mostly about size and effort. The diamond-dust sharpener (at least the one I used) was like 3x as long, heavier, and you had to put a bit of effort to physically sharpen things. On the other hand, this is pretty small, light, easy to stick the knife into the slow and slide through a bunch of times without much effort. Really, it's all preference. I think considering the size and ease, this is slightly better overall than a diamond dust rod (for me personally).

This knife sharpener works really great! I really like that there are three different sections. Tonight I sharpened a ceramic knife and this sharpener worked like a pro! The handle is great, and I didn't feel like it was cumbersome. It is small enough to store in a drawer and take out when needed. I am going to use this to sharpen all of my knives, and they are getting quite dull. This would be nice to take on a camping trip as well, in case you need to sharpen your filet knife!

I love this sharpener! The handle is shaped for a good secure grip. It has three sharpening slots: coarse, fine, and ceramic and it generally only takes three or four passes through the appropriate slot to bring your blade back to life. It's not big and bulky either so it fits neatly into my kitchen drawer. I seriously recommend this PreciSHARP knife sharpener. It makes a great addition to your kitchen for a very good price.

The media could not be loaded.  My grandmother has a nice set of old Chicago cutlery and she keeps them in great condition. Now the edge on some of them needed sharpening. So I went looking for an easy sturdy sharpener for her. This has 3 types of sharping choices: Ceramic for ceramic blades, Course for stainless steel, and Fine for stainless steel. The sharpener sits flat on the counter and while holding the handle you draw the non-serrated blade through the slot. I have never sharpened any of my kitchen knives before and this was very simple, very easy, and took the scary out of it.

decent lil knife sharpener but need to be able to sharpen serrated blades as well. instructions are vague and is a learning experience to get your knife sharp like it was when you purchased it
